Today we have a member openly denying the deity of Christ and the Trinity. People doing so do NOT arrive with good intent.

The trinity is easy to explain in a metaphor: So, we have a supermarket chain called, lets say, Morrisons. Now this supermarket chain is owned by a man called Mr Morrison. His son is the CEO, lets call him Jesus, so he has total stewardship overall employees, and is responsible for there welfare, safety and that they are paid well and on time, amongst other responsibilities. Then we have the General manager, lets call him the Holy Spirit. He is the mentor, the one who teaches newcomers how the supermarket chain works, its purpose, what the rules are to work there, and to make sure everyone does what they are told to do safely and efficiently. Now how easy was that to demonstrate the trinity? All three are on the same page, working for the same goal ( to make a decent profit/to save the elect), but three different people.

Just as it is impossible to come to the Father except through Christ , no man can come to Christ except the Spirit draws him.

Best to use scripture for Who gets the actual credit for drawing unto the Son.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

There are no scripture testifying to giving the credit to the Spirit drawing men unto the Son. Unless you know of one, but I sure don't. Seems scripture specified that credit plainly to the Father as drawing men unto the Son.

I do not know what a purist is. And I fail to see the relevance of the question for why you are asking.

Jesus said the Father is the One drawing men unto the Son that gives us to the Son, so why not believe Him & His words?

That said I wonder if it might pay to ask of new members that they do not subvert the core doctrines of the faith. This can be done without requiring any sort of confession of faith. OR maybe a section dedicated to discussion of the unorthodox.

Once you get the Trinity figured out maybe you can deal with the deeper issues of the Wide Gate to Death or Narrow Path to Life. Won't hold my breath.

I've communicated to you in a PM trying to show you the love of Christ, and this is how you respond not just to me but to others!
I'm an old Military Man, and worked in Corrections for almost 20 years, so your words do not hurt, but do make me sad. You would
do well to read 1 Corinthians 13 and take it to heart. It might give you a greater understanding that the knowledge you believe you
are sharing with others, has no benefit when the Love of Christ is not part of it.

Hopefully you will learn this on another site after being banned from this one...again.
