God was speaking symbolically. We humans however are not to have more than one spouse since Jesus.

I am not sure if it was symbolic or if it was , what did it symbolize ? Confusion?

The first thing that God said as not good during creation was for man to be alone . He created one help meet .I would say two (the witness of God) is a company . . three or more would a crowd it just complicates things . Jealousy stacks sides .

How can two keep warm , a strand of three to include the Holy Spirt is not east to break
