How God speaks to me...

God speaks to me through remembrance of His Word, that is His instructions in the Bible, when I have question or concern on any given subject. Now it is up to me to allow my mind to give remembrance to His instructions as I meet each day, and/or situation. Fear, anxiety, anger, and diverse desires, can delay these remembrances. I am thankful that at this time, the remembrances will eventually surface, even if I initially react to a situation with fear, or anger.

This said, I can say that I have seen and heard angels during out of body and dream states on two occasions of my life. These were very life enlightening experiences, which allowed me to understand my conscious etheral substance of life that lives independently of the flesh, as well as God's great service of angels who can be seen and heard.

In addition to this I will say on two occasions in my 59 years of life, I have heard a small voice inside of me located in the pit of my stomach area. The voice was a response to my thoughts. In the 60's as I heavily lamented over our soldiers dying in Vietnam...a small clear voice said from within, "What are you trying to do, kill me?" And about five years later, as I studied the properties of the endocrine system with the joy of learning more about the science of life, it said, "Alright! One, two, three, four, five..."

I will tell you that these experiences had great impact on my level of belief, and faith, in the love and power of God, being alive now, and forever with us to explore, learn, and achieve.:wink:

I guess since my experiences aren't how others have them mine are not true experiences? Who gives anyone (including me) the right to squash someone else's experience with God? I did not experience things the way others have. Just because of that does not mean I go around telling others that since I didn't experience God the way they did, they are wrong.

When I open the Bible, it is like God is speaking to me. When I pray and worship, a voice deep inside me speaks and I KNOW that I KNOW that I KNOW that it is God. And I won't allow anyone to tell me different.

I'm not trying to be arrogant or proud, and if you think that, then you don't know me. I just know my God and how He moves. I know what He does for me and I know who He is. I call that having confidence in my beliefs and having faith in God.

There's a song we sing at our church. It goes: I know who I am. I know who I am. I know who I am. I am Yours!

And that's all that matters. All this other stuff and what people say...it doesn't matter. I am not shaken. I will not back down. I'm a warrior for Jesus, a prayer warrior.

And I HAVE heard the still small voice. And I pray that God speaks to you, to me, to all of us more and more!

I don't think your pole has how it is He speaks to me.

He speaks to me through everything and everyone and it doesn't matter who or what .

I ask him a question and wait for an answer./
I knock eventually he answers somehow. sometimes it is just a knowing something sometimes ..
or if I didn't 'get it' the first few tries , like in the storm or the word or .. He usually then uses someone like 'balaam's donkey' or he changes me through his word to be able to hear and understand it the way he wants me too .

but the answer always comes in some form. it can be dreams or anything.. you can usually look back and see the other ways He tried to tell you.. or maybe it was the second or third witness THIRTEENTH witness .

He is in everything, he holds all things together.

I try hard to put no restrictions on how he has to talk to me or how it is I will listen to him, or he has to do it only my way . I want to be able to hear him in everything he is doing.

did you know that some old studies say that someone has to hear something like maybe 12-13 times for them to start to understand a new thing.
so chances are he told me not one but thirteen times before I 'figured it out" probably really before it just sits on you .
He is a BIG GOD! HE HAS TO BE IN ORDER TO GET ANYTHING THROUGH TO US.:wink:

Which one of us can instruct the Father? Which one of us can instruct the Holy Spirit? And; Jesus is my King, He instructs me, I for one would never instruct Him. Jesus can make a donkey talk to you if He wants to, if thats what it would take to make you hear.

So much talk, empty headed talk about beware of the devil, he could be talking. If you believe that, you do not follow His Word. Jesus does not and will never make us a people of weakness, we are brothers to the King and we are a people of power. Read your bible, but when you do, read it slow and take it in.

Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" And they said, "Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

I draw your attention to For flesh and blood part- Thats us or humans, the Father told Peter and Peter did not read it in the book, he heard it.... The rock Jesus speaks of is the foundation on hearing the Father in Spirit, within us all not just a few as some believe. Us ALL.... That rock is His church a church based on hearing YOUR family, God your Father, Jesus your Brother and the Holy Spirit who makes it all come to pass. Jesus went on to say not even the gate of hell, meaning everything behind it including the evil one, can come against it.

Now here is faith, without faith you will not see this, because only in faith can you hear, the flesh is no help at all.

If I sound a little upset in the tone of my writting, its only because of the evil behind what I have read. Why give satan credit all the time, what is the matter with you. If you need to give credit, give it to God the Father for giving us His son.

What is satan, who is satan compared to God? A blimp on the screen nothing more. The very power of LOVE, FAITH and our HOPE in God kills satan. But when you learn how to hear the Father in Spiritual ways, the power jumps 10000000000 Times in a split second. The gate of hell will not come near you. How can it?

Never instruct the Father, its a wild sin to do so, never instruct Jesus, He is your KING, and if you shut the door of the kingdom in the faces of others, just let me get out of the way first.

I hear the Father, because Jesus said it was ok, it all happens because of the Holy Spirit, and when you say it can't be done, you are doing the very thing Jesus said not to do. There is only one unforgivable sin. Before you make judgement on another, besure to read blaspheming the Holy Spirit first, I beg you.

I am sorry if I sound hard, but I only get upset when He does. Not one person can instruct the Father, not one. I for one pray everyday that all hear Him in Spirit and come to know the family as a brother and sisters as Christ called us all. We have a great Father and sadly many are missing out on the closeness, because they are busy giving satan credit, before God.

If you have made the mistake of saying one can't hear God Spiritually, and it said in ignorance, this at least is a saving grace.

Its not about glorifying Satan; its about warning people to be watchful, to be alert to his sneaky ways. There's nothing empty headed about that.

"Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness." (2 Cor 11:14-15)

God speaks to me through my heart, via thoughts and sometimes urgings to do something.......But whether He "talks" to me or not, it doesn't change my faith that He is always with me and working out His perfect plan for me behind the scenes.
He also speaks through the bible and our conscience, and His law is written in our heart as well. So we know what is expected of us and what the right thing to do is, without His having to implant a thought.
