Hi Nicolek,

I couldn't use your poll coz I was saved when I was about 10 years old...so I wasn't a teenager and I didn't fit the first category either.

I became a Christian when I went to this camp and I heard the Gospel message for the first time - that being a Christian wasn't just about being a good person but it was about believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior. I believed it straight away and have believed it ever since. That was 30 years ago!

I responded to the Lord 1978 @ 27. he had been on my case since I cried out to Him as a teen.

Awesome!!!

I was saved when I was about 15 years old. But I believe God dumped a great big splash of frigid water over my head. Finally I understood that indeed I was not a good person. In fact, "our hearts are deceitfully wicked above all things, who can know it."
Yes, then my life took a radical turn. And no, I didn't accept Him or ask Him into my heart.

I accept Him?.....I accept Him? OH NO, He accepts a wicked me. Yes, all I did was repent--admit I couldn't save myself---and put my trust in Him only to save me.

Mum always took us to church when I was very little, but then we moved to outback Australia. There were no churches nearby and we all fell away from our faith. I was saved two and a half years ago when I was 23.

I was babtised when I was 15 years old, now I am 27. But I remember trusting in God as a very small child and knowing that when I prayed to Him my prayers would be answered. I don't guess this is a question I can really answer, but thank God He knows, amen. So I guess I cannot do your poll, but it is nice to know that even though I may not know the day I was saved, God knows the very hour, minute and second, isn't that cool! Love, in Christ, Amber.

Honesty, I am also crazy for the Lord. I love it that you said that.

I will never forget, I was teaching 5th Grade Sunday School, and the preacher's son, saw me get all excited about Jesus, and he said, "You are crazy."

I said, grinning from ear to ear, "Yes! I am crazy! Crazy for Christ!"

As a matter of fact, I will be 10 years old in Christ this June!! If this is what they meant by being once an adult and twice a child then, this childhood is the BALM!!! (I know that this is not what they meant but, it should be!!) Yes, I am baptised. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It even tops being married to a wonderful man and being the mother of a wonderful son.

I ticked the allways belived box but mostly because it is the closest. I have a distinct memory of a crises of faith at about 9 or 10 years. After this I decided to Follow Jesus.

But I am from a Christian home so God was always around before that.

i clicked the teens box: at 18 the Lord definitly grabbed me up. But from a child i had known the scriptures and i never doubted Jesus's death or ressurrection. But at 18 He made it clear he had died for me, and had a new life for me hidden in him on God's right hand. That was on April 2nd 1969 at 1:00 in the morning...my april fools day was over. ...DGB

I became a Christian at 4 years old. At first I didn't really understand it fully but as the years go on I believe my love and understanding of what Christ did for me deepens more.

I have been a christian since my teens because, i happened to run away because my fatheer was like totaly yelling at me. Then one of my friends i met online talk to me about god and how he can change my life so i guess i gave my life to him when i was 13 and would have to April 15, 2006. Thanks nice poll

I became a born of God believer when I was 28 years old. That was 22 years, 6 months, 18 days ago. I was one who believed in God but was not born of God. I became born of the Spirit after being confronted by the Spirit of my lack of belief in Jesus Christ paying the price for my sins. After getting honest with myself, and then God upon this revelation, I repented, believed, and followed Jesus in baptism to show physically what had taken place spiritually.

wow

since i was 12. i'm now 22. tens years and loving every bit of it. Hallelujah.
thank you Jesus for your salvation.

yea yea you are mighty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I became a christian when I was 18. I was born into a mennonite home where you had to follow certain things like, don't watch TV, play competative sports, stuff like that, and I always thought I was a christian as long as I did those things, but praise Jesus for opening my eyes to how really lost I actually was

Hi everyone! I am just wondering how long you have all been a Christian...did you always believe (since you were a child?), did you start to believe during your teen years? Adult life? Just curious! :)

Oh I also wonder when and if you were all baptised..i guess that will have to be another poll!

thanks for sharing!
Krista :)

I got saved at the age of 15, that is about 6 years back. This November, I will be 21.

nicolek - I commited my life to the Lord Jesus in 1941 at the age of 11 years. It has been a joy through the years. A few times I drifted away and and those times were not so joyful. But our Lord Jesus in his wonderful mercies always forgives and restores us to his joy.

Now I am 77 years old, in the latter years of my life, and my times with Jesus is priceless.

May our Lord bless you and keep you in the center of his will. sonnyd
