Should we call the Holy spirit "Lord"?--Because from my understanding the Holy spirit is the presence of Christ within us Born again believers-- even the presence of God.

Also explain the nature of God-- or the "Trinity" as most christian s call the Godhead.

Thank you,
Warm regards!

Yes the Holy Spirit is the Lord.

.
The truth is --- the literal term--- " HOLY SPIRIT "

this phrase
--- { ---HOLY SPIRIT--- } is not appearing in many of the passages of the manuscripts

in some passages where the manuscripts simply say { HOLY } the translators insert the word Spirit afterwards

THE - SPIRIT - HOLY - - is the EXACT way it is mostly written in the manuscripts - - -

this third person, simply does not exist in the manuscripts in the way Trinitarians portray.

I could list all of the passages and if you would like, i would be very happy to do so

THE PHRASE
HOLY SPIRITAPPEARS IN THE TRINITARIAN TRANSLATION A TOTAL OF “4 “ total times. -
And the phrase “ HOLY GHOST “ APPEARS IN THE TRINITARIAN TRANSLATION A TOTAL OF “90 “ total times.

This is exactly as it is in the original manuscripts.

Mat 1:18 Mary - found with child of the Spirit Holy “ . not - the Holy Spirit

Mat 1:20 Mary - conceived in her is of the Spirit Holy “ . not - the Holy Spirit

Mat 3:11 baptize you with the Spirit Holy “ . not - the Holy Spirit

Mat 12:31 Blaspheme against the Spirit “ . the word Holy - SPIRIT “ does not exist anywhere in this verse - it simply says against the Spirit

Mat 12:32 speak against the Spirit of the Holy “. not as - the Holy Spirit

This is how Trinitarians run through the entire New Testament - changing the " SPIRIT HOLY " onto the " HOLY SPIRIT "

also inserting the word SPIRIT - with the word HOLY - and vice versa
-- -and adding / inserting the word " SPRIT " with the word Holy
they literally create and invent and insert this third person into the Translation, when it is not in the manuscript.

The 4 instances where " Holy Spirit " was used, it is written in the manuscript as
- - The Spirit OF THE Holy

του
- - πνευματος - - του - - αγιου. - not simply as a person called " The Holy Spirit "

in the manuscripts
- ----- exactly - του The - - πνευματος Spirit - - του of the - - αγιου Holy

The Bible says that the Spirit is the Lord and that the Lord is invisible, unseen to the human eye

.

In - Mat 12:31 the Catholic Translators did not add or insert the word Holy - to pretend it says Holy Spirit, the word “ Holy “ does not exist anywhere in Mat 12:31 -

the word
Holy was added or inserted by the Protestants in the K.J.V

Mat 12:31 Blaspheme against the Spirit not Holy Spirit

THE PHRASE “ HOLY - SPIRIT “ APPEARS IN THE
Trinitarian Translation a TOTAL of “ 4 “ total times. -
And the phrase “ HOLY - GHOST “ APPEARS IN THE TRINITARIAN TRANSLATION a TOTAL of “ 90 “ total times. - -

So…… this is 94 total times where the Trinitarians have - The “ HOLY - SPIRIT “ in their Translation.

Yet, in the Greek Manuscripts - the exact phraseHOLY SPIRIT / Ghost “ this exact phrase only appears 9 total times in the entire Manuscripts.

Here are the 9 total times where the Manuscripts say - “ αγιω
Holy - πνευματι Spirit

Mat 28:19 baptizing them in the name of ……..the “ Holy Spirit “
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you:
Act 2:33 the promise of the “
Holy Spirit
Act 2:38 Repent, and be baptized ………… ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
Act 9:31 churches ……… …….. were edified…….., and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit
Act 10:45 on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit
Act 16:6 they were forbidden of the
Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia
1Co 6:19 your body is the temple of the
Holy Spirit
2Co 13:14 the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

This is exactly as it is in the original manuscripts.

The rest of the New Testament does not say the Holy Spiritin all - of the other 85 passages

These passages say - the SPIRIT - HOLY - in Greek , as πνευματι Spirit - αγιω Holy “ -

Mat 1:18 Mary - found with child of the “ Spirit - Holy not - the Holy Spirit
Mat 1:20 Mary - conceived in her is of the “ Spirit - Holy not – the Holy Spirit
Mat 3:11 baptize you with the “ Spirit - Holynot - the Holy Spirit
Mar 1:8 he shall baptize you with the “ Spirit Holynot - the Holy Spirit

Luk 1:15 shall be filled with the “ Spirit Holynot - the Holy Spirit
Luk 1:35 the “ Spirit Holy “ shall come upon thee - not - the Holy Spirit
Luk 1:41 Elisabeth was filled with the “ Spirit Holynot - the Holy Spirit
Luk 1:67 Zacharias was filled with the “ Spirit Holy not - the Holy Spirit

Also the same, in - Luk 1:35, Luk 2:25, Luk 11:13, Joh 7:39, Joh 20:22, Act 8:15, Act 8:17, Act 8:19, Act 13:4, Act 19:2

These “ 2
0 “ total passages say

SPIRIT OF THE HOLY “ - πνευμα Spirit - το Of The - αγιον Holy

not - the “ Holy Spirit “

Mar 12:36 For David himself said by the “ Spirit of the Holy not - the Holy Spirit

Mar 13:11 for it is not ye that speak, but the “ Spirit of the Holynot - the Holy Spirit
Mat 12:32 speak against the “ Spirit of the Holy not - the Holy Spirit
Mar 3:29 blaspheme against the “ Spirit of the Holy not - the Holy Spirit

Also the same, in - Mar 3:29, Mar 13:11, Luk 3:22, Joh 14:26, Act 1:16, Act 5:3, Act 8:18, Act 10:44, Act 10:47, Act 11:15, Act 13:2, Act 15:8, Act 19:6, Act 20:23, Act 20:28, Act 21:11, Act 28:25, Eph 4:30, Heb 3:7, Heb 9:8, Heb 10:15.

So we find that one time the Protestants - inser
ted / added - the word Holy - in Mat 12:31, in order to pretend that it says “ HOLY Spirit “

The other 85 verses do not say
Holy Spirit but instead they say - SPIRIT OF THE HOLY or SPIRIT HOLY.

The Trinitarians transpose and switch the words around, SWITCHING and MOVING - placing the word Holy in front of the word Spirit - to pretend, that the Holy Spirit is a third person in the Gospel.

In the Old Testament - the Trinitarians pretend that the phrase “ HOLY SPIRIT “ exists ONLY 3 total times.

Psa 51:11, Isa 63:10, Isa 63:11
- all of these passages say - IN HEBREW say - The ורוח SPIRIT - קדשׁך HOLY "

And NEVER once is the phrase ‘ Holy Spirit ‘ mentioned in the Old testament - not even once. ! !

and out of the 94 total times in the NEW TESTAMENT - the phrase The Holy Spirit is only mentioned 9 times,

the other
84 times it is mentioned as The Spirit of the Holy or as The SPIRIT HOLY

Trinitarians literally alter and change the Bible
84 times and switch and move words around AND DELETE AND REMOVE WORDS - just to insert the phrase “ Holy Spirit “ into their Translation.

When “
Holy Spirit “ only exists 9 total times out of the 94 total instances in the Transition.

From the Old Testament to the New - the Common phrase was " The Spirit Holy or The Spirit Of The Holy

The term " HOLY SPIRIT " only exits 9 total times out of the total " 97 " total times - The Trinitarians literally alter the Bible in order to invent and CREATE SUPPORT for the third person that does not exist in the Manuscripts.

There is only one Spirit that is Holy which holy simply means set aside for a certain work of the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit of God, by God not seen..

Catholiscim or any sect do not have the power to create their own idea of saints . They have 3500 and rising what they call patron saints named from Rome inspired earthly as disembodied workers with familiar spirits called "the legion."

One is our Holy Father in heaven call no man on earth patron saints (holy fathers )

Thanks so very much for taking the time to reply. I agree completely.

In my last post I made a couple mistakes,

I had started this previously but did not finish and all of the complete verses were not listed. Today I completed the list of all passages with the phrase " Holy Spirit " in the KJV - - - this is also the general way that all Trinitarian Translations are written, Some versions are slightly different.

It is - The Spirit Of The Holy

I would think it is the same difference. Holy Spirit or Spirit of the Holy one, our one Holy God .

Trinitarians simply make the Spirit of sonship as sons of God (Not a fleshly seed) The Holy Spirit of God as if he was a man as us .

Just think if it - the phrase, Holy Spirit does not even exist anywhere in the entire manuscripts of the Old Testament.

And in the New, out of the nearly 100 instances where the Spirit of God is mentioned,

only, in 12 instances is the term " Holy Spirit " mentioned in the entire New Testament.

of all other nearly 90 + instances, it is simply the " Spirit Of The Holy " - and not the " Holy Spirit " in the New T. - This third Co - Equal, Co - Eternal second person, Trinitarians do not even know whom is the name of the " Holy Spirit "

would you think that the Scriptures would give the name of this second person called the " Holy Spirit " yet the name of the Holy Spirit, the name of this second person =

the name does not exist in the manuscripts.

Probably less than 1 % of all instances where the Spirit of God is mentioned in the New and Old Testament uses the term as

Holy Spirit

all of the other 99 % of instances where the Spirit Of God is mentioned are defined as ......

......... the Spirit of God or as the Spirit of the Holy

Trinitarians go through the entire Bible switching Spirit of the Holy into = Holy Spirit and adding, inserting the word Holy

in order to invent and insert the separate second person of the Holy Spirit - whom Trinitarians do not know or care -

what is the name of this second Person

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, remember God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost are one, the Bible made to me the the holy Spirit is the spirit of God, if He is the spirit of God, he can be called Lord according to 2 Corinthians 3:17

I believe 2 Corinthians 3:7 has been misapplied below as if we can call the Holy Spirit Lord when in actuality, that verse was just testifying to the Spirit of the Lord as being the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, since it is His face that we shall see. So when I read Now the Lord is that Spirit: I see that as testifying to the deity of the Holy Spirit and being a Divine Witness of the Lord Jesus Christ rather than teaching believers to address the Holy Spirit as Lord.

2 Corinthians 3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

The irony here is that the role of the Holy Spirit would lead believers to testify of the Son thru us ( John 15:26-27 ) in order to glorify the Son ( John 16:14 ) for why the Holy Spirit would never lead believers to testify of Himself ( John 5:31 ) in seeking His own glory ( John 7:18 ) and that has to include worship. Having this mind of Christ in obedience in worship as Paul instructed in Philippians 2:5-13, is why the Holy Spirit is not mentioned to be honored in order to honor God the Father for how we are all to be judged by in John 5:22-23. Indeed, the moment we stop honoring the Son, we are no longer honoring the Father in worship as the latter half of that verse in John 5:23 testify of.

Indeed, Jesus meant what He had said in John 14:6 as being the only way to come to God the Father by in worship, prayer, & fellowship & that by climbing up any other way is a work of iniquity per John 10:1 & Matthew 7:13-27 & Luke 13:24-30 whereby many believers and churches today are at risk in being left behind at the pre great tribulation rapture event.

So Who do you think the Holy Spirit would lead you to testify of as to Who is Lord to the glory of God the Father? Not Himself, but the Lord Jesus Christ. May we be led by the scripture & the Spirit to do the same rather than by a false Nicene creed of 381 A.D. that teaches the practice of worshiping the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son..

It would seem mankind tries to give eternal God . . .form.. making God the Faithfull and true Creator into a man a creation.

The Spirit of Truth the Holy Spirit is not reckoned as a man. He has no literal fleshly face .

Job 9:32-33 For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment. Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both

When the Son of man was bowed to to in worship He was accused of being the Lord the good master .He would not stand in the place as God but gave glory to the unseen Lord the one good teaching master .The Son of man Jesus did not teach us he was a daysman (the fleshly infallible teacher )

Mark 10 17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Face to face is in the revealed knowledge of God .The same as saying faith to faith (comparing the unseen spiritual to the same ).Again God is not a man a creation as us

1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

We have the whole testimony as it is written (sola scriptura) Revelation is the last book or chapter .We have the perfect

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Face of Jesus Christ the knowledge of our unseen God

Not the literal dying face of Jesus the Son of man the first born of many sons of God (believers .)

When the Son of man, Jesus left or disappeared for the last time . The father left clear instructions that even though some did recognize the work of the Father working in the Son of man, and would not venerate Jesus a like man ( dying flesh and blood. ) The outward demonstration to the whole world was over .

We walk by faith the unseen not by sight after the things seen . Yoked with Him He teaches us how to walk or understand our Father by his faithful labor of love. again working with us not of us.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, (The Son of man Jesus.)yet now henceforth know we him no more.

I would emphasize from the verse above..and ofer a paraphrase (yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh,)

.Though we have known the work of Christ demonstrated after the flesh the Holy Spirit working in the Son of man, Jesus. Again the one time propmised demonstration to the world is over. God is not a man .

You could say the faith of Christ's labor of love worked in the Son of man.

The Holy Spirit of Sonship by which all new creatures call out to Abba Father . The anointing teacher, comforter and guide who also as informed in John 14 that our Father gives us one of the better things things that accompany salvation .. .bringing to our memory the previous thing he has taught.(memories the good gift.) .

Jesus the apostle as a prophet learned of the father.

The one time promised beforehand demonstration of the gospel (Isaiah 53) ended. It is one of many prophecies that spoke of the demonstration to the whole world . The gospel of our Father not seen working with yoked with the son of man , Jesus... to both reveal his will and empower Jesus to perform it to the fathers good pleasure .Jesus over and over declared not by his own dying will as a will of men but your will.. the will of God .

It would seem mankind tries to give eternal God . . .form.. making God the Faithfull and true Creator into a man a creation.

The Spirit of Truth the Holy Spirit is not reckoned as a man. He has no literal fleshly face .
The Spirit of God has no form of man but the Father and the Son did for why the Son, as the Word of God, made the request to the Father to make man after "our image" and after "our likeness" and so as the One God, man was created in His image and after His likeness.

Man was created after the image & likeness of God so man is not doing that the other way around.

Indeed, the Word of God have become flesh and dwelt among us but He had existed before His incarnation as the Son of Man as seen in the Old testament as the God men had seen.

Jesus The God That Men Had Seen In The O.T.

Is it correct to call the Holy spirit "Lord"?

Our church does it all the time. In fact anytime you say something like 'Lord, come into my heart'. It's actually the Holy Spirit that dwells within you.

Where is the Father?
In Heaven. Seated on the Throne.

Where is the Son? Sitting next to Him.

Where is the Spirit. Here with us, In us.

I have a testimony that I feel is relevant. Having spent better than 32 years under the instruction of Ruah, you call Him the Holy Spirit, how could I ever live the Scriptures without calling on Him? Let's keep it simple, without Ruah as your intercessor, can you live the Ten Commandments that YHWH wrote on the stone tablets?

I can't without Ruah's intercession... nobody can. We must rely on and call on Him for completion of His and our missions here.

Not quite so clear cut as you made that out to be when several scriptures testifies how Jesus Christ is within us and with us always as the Good Shepherd He is.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The name of Jesus which is also Immanuel means God with us.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Matthew 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

So what happens when a sinner gets saved by believing in Jesus Christ? We get indwelt by the 3 Witnesses within the One God.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. 25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

So the real question is what does scripture says in how the Holy Spirit would lead us to call Lord?

Philippians 2
:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

So let the Holy Spirit and scripture lead us to call Jesus Christ Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Where in scripture does it teach for you to GO TO the Holy Spirit in prayer when Jesus Christ is at that throne of grace per Hebrews 4:12-16 for why there is only one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 ?

It is Jesus Christ that gives our intercessions in searching our hearts, the Spirit's unuttered and silent intercessions, and even His own intercessions to the Father so that when the Father agrees to any of those intercessions, the Son answers the prayers and the Holy Spirit in all that He says and does, gives the credit & glory to Jesus Christ.

John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

John 16:
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

All the fruits of the Spirit, all the words of the Spirit, a;; the gifts of the Spirit are from Jesus Christ as Lord and Head of the Church as Jesus Christ is the author & finisher of our faith as He will finish His work in us to His glory.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:.... 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Hebrews 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Let's keep it simple, without Ruah as your intercessor, can you live the Ten Commandments that YHWH wrote on the stone tablets?
Matthew 12:1-7 testifies why we are guiltless for profaning the sabbath day because our bodies are the temples of the holy Spirit per 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 & Jesus Christ is in us 2 Corinthians 13:5 & with us always Matthew 28:20.
I can't without Ruah's intercession... nobody can. We must rely on and call on Him for completion of His and our missions here.
We are to call on the Bridegroom, the Son of God, our Good Shepherd & Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, for how we are to live this reconciled relationship with God thru Jesus Christ. John 14:6 No other way John 10:1

The real indwelling Holy Ghost & scripture are still pointing believers to go to the Son for life. Jesus Christ relates to us through the Spirit of Christ in us, but our response & focus is back to the Bridegroom.

There is only 1 mediator (although the Roman Catholics would say Mary is). But there isn't only one intercessor.
Rom 8:26; In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;
Rom 8:27; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:34; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

There is a difference between an intercessor and a mediator.

1Tim 2:5; For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
Heb 8:6; But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.
Heb 9:15; For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
Heb 12:24; and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.
