Is speaking in tongues necessary to be saved?

Excuse the butt in but they also seem to throw away the words that their should b two people who can say what they speaking in their so called "tongue"

I believe most the people who r being deceived are those who see words and not Hear the Spirit why its written

In those videos you never see someone interpreting. When you hear them, you should easily know it's not what they are doing.
We know tongues = language. A true gift of tongues would be a person speaking in a language that he knows little or nothing about. If a group had a lot of non-English speakers this "gift" would allow him to speak their language and as not to lose the rest of us, the other person could interpret for us.
That is IF it has happened in the recent thousand years. They fake it as best they can.
It is NOT the ability to speak some "unkown, holy/angelic language". There is no purpose in that. God understands everything so there's no need to speak anything different than one's native language.
Most of the ones who do this are Word of Faith (WoF) and Pentecostals. I don't think the Prosperity public speakers do it.

The people in the WoF, Penocostals, and Prosperity groups weight heavily on "miracles" and other works.

Also, most Charismatic-Pentecostals, do not understand that what Peter did in Acts 2, is not what you think you are doing in your church, or when you are alone.
THAT, is a prayer language, which is NOT the 'Gift of Tongues".
The Gift of Tongues, is to be able to speak a foreign language...."tongue", that you have never learned.
Notice that Peter did this in Acts 2, and they who heard it said.....>"we hear in our own LANGUAGE".

Thats the SIGN GIFT.......that is what the JEWS require......"as Tongues are for a SIGN", and "Jews require a SIGN">.....so, during Pentecost, Peter the JEW, was preaching to JEWS, and God gave him this Supernatural ability .
= "the GIFT of TONGUES".

The false nowadays tongue speaking is commonly called a “prayer language.” Those practicing the false tongue speaking believe they are speaking a prayer language, and that in this type of praying it is somehow deeper and more personal than praying with their native language with words they understand. However, that is not scriptural, and that even goes against the Word of God which says you will have a fruitless mind if you pray like that. Surely, a fruitless mind is not something one should be aiming for in personal prayer times.

Tongues aren't a special "prayer language" for private prayer times.

1 Corinthians 14:14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.

1 Corinthians 14:15 So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding.

Amen too that so few even realize this n ya could quote the Word till we r blue in the face n they still don't get it had a preacher wanted to dunk me in his tub till I came up speaking in tongues I looked at him n said please don't touch me idk wat u got n I left real quick lol

What scares me is that word Blasphemy is wat they r doin even forgivable in this or the next so many is Taking Him out of context cause they only see words
