As for the fossils -- there was a huge display of supposedly a kind of dinasaur -- and there Are many kinds -- with all the bones to show how huge it was -- in a display in a museum a long time ago. People were Very impressed. And then there was a news paper story about How it came to be in the museum. Some students were playing a practical joke -- managed to assemble all the bones necessary and 'create' the display. Well -- instead of being outraged by the fake dinasaur, the article was hidden and 'it' was continued to depict what they really Did look like.

Take a moment to Google -- Dinaseur sizes -- Wikepedia. -- Very interesting. Did you know that a hummingbird is in the fame 'family' as the longest / biggest dinasaurs that ever existed.

And it's not what God 'planted' -- it's what scientists have Found that is Most interesting.

All you're doing is exposing how LITTLE you know about Paleontology. And the question remains - IF Dinosaurs existed in Adam's day, why weren't they on the Ark with Noah?? There should have been 2 of each kind, (or 7 if they were "clean).

In any case, the "Gap theory", and OEC does no "violence" to any Biblical text, so all your accusations of "Unbelief" are meaningless. All you're doing is parroting a certain "THEOLOGICAL INTERPRETATION" of the Word. ALL GOd's Chilluns gots "Interpretations".

Paleontology is a huge area of study with various sub-disciplines. Lots of fossil studying. Lots of it Assumes evolutionary development taking place over millions of years. Which would, therefore, exclude Biblical creation. Lots of 'assuming' can be done and Has been done by various 'experts' in their fields.

Looking back at Genesis 1:24 and 25 'according to its kind'. That would include reptiles. Going on to chapter 7 : 14 "they and every beast after its kind, all cattle after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort." two of each -- male and female. And then back-track to vs 2and 3 which is what you brought up.

Your very last sentence indicates that you're not taking any of this seriously.

Belief / indifference / non-belief are Very important.

God has given us His Word for a good reason. For us / You / to actually read and take seriously. Especially the part about there eventually being a Real heaven and a Real hell / lake of fire and brimstone / in a person's future.

Why Dinosaurs was not on the : Ark with Noah? Answer: They were too "Big" and they eat too much. after a few days, Guess who is on the "Menu" Won't nothing last for 40 days. For The Elephant and The LION, after day 3, becomes the Prey.

The question about dinasaurs came up. Lizards are part Of that family of animals. So, apparently they Were on the ark.

For what it is worth.... about 40 years ago in a week long class on Genesis with a rabbi .. the same question was asked what about the dinos? His response was something like ... The original language reads more like God selected which critters Noah was to collect.

I wish i could remember his name ... i can remember some of his story... born Jewish birth and religion ....saved through a Baptist teaching of some sort... then into Pentecost ... Like i said for wat ever it is worth to you....

Danial in the lions den, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, . How about the sun standind still. Feeding of the 5 thousand . Healing the lepers , Elijah and widow.. Not to forget the Resurrection.

Science and scientists tell us there are only two genders. Selfish boys and girls with political agendas have created over a dozen gender titles to assign specific situations. While modern surgery can transform someone into a near copy of the opposite gender, none whom have undergone such transformation have chosen a third.

Regarding an earlier entry about which animals remained after the flood, Genesis glosses over much of the animal and insect worlds. I think your Rabbi friend possessed a good understanding of the text. Cheers

It goes with believing in the reliability Of God's Word. Was He able to create this world in 6 / 24-hr days? Yes, because His word says it happened that way.

The Gap Theory -- It's handy for people to add into Scripture anything they Want to. Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." vs 2 "The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters." That's how the NKJ reads -- the KJ has an "And" between the verses. Vs 2 starts out "And the earth..."

There are those who ask "Why was the earth without form and was void....." Something Must have happened to make it that way. A person can put all sorts of 'things' happening. That the fall of satan and the demons was so horrific that it was destroyed as a result.

And there are those who want to make a day lasting for a thousand years . That would allow for evolution to take place. And put God WAY in the distance just watching creation take place.
