"The Jesus the Preachers Don't Want us to Know"

Proverbs 8:22-23 "The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works; before his deeds of old; I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the
world came to be."
24-26 When there were no watery depths, I was given birth, when there were no springs overflowing with water; before the mountains were settled in place,
before the hills I was given birth, before he made the world of its fields or any of the dust of the earth.
27-29 I was there when he set the heavens in place, when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, when he established the clouds above and fixed securely
the fountains of the deep, when he gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.

30-31 Then I was constantly at his side, I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence, rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind.

32- Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways.
33- Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it.
34-Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting daily at my doorway.
35 For those WHO FIND ME FIND LIFE and RECEIVE FAVOR FROM THE LORD.
36 But those who fail to find me harm themselves; all who hate me love death.

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; these things saith the Amen, the true and faithful witness, the beginning of the creation of God.

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness," I don't think it could be made plainer than that Tanya, what do you think?

There are 7 spirits of God yes? And God is a spirit. Then why do we assume that when he says let us make man in our image that it must be Jesus, there is
nothing that says Jesus was part of the US?
Especially when the only True God says of himself several times there is no other God beside me in the OT.
Isaiah 45:5 "I am the LORD, and there is NONE else, there is NO GOD beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me."
Isaiah 44:6 "This is what the LORD says-Israels King and Redeemer, the LORD of Heavens Armies: I am the first and the last there is no other God."
Isaiah 45:21

We see the LORD proclaim he is the first and the last, and this is true in the sense that he is the only true God, there will never be another.
We see Jesus say he is the first and the last, the alpha and omega, and this is true as he is the only begotten Son of God and there will never be another.

But in order to be begotten he must come from another for to be begotten means to come into being by the act of procreation or an offspring of the original parent.

Hi Samson, I would have though the inferences Jesus made would have convinced even the most sceptic of us. John 8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" When Moses asked God who he was to tell the Israelites sent him, Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses: I am the eternal God, So tell them that the Lord, who's name is I Am has sent you. This is my name forever. John 14:9-12 Jesus answered: " Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? John 10:30 "I and the Father are one." Well it convinces me Samson, you must believe what your heart tells you. Bless you

You need a good study Bible with a good book on the difference Greek Arabic not everything in the Bible is meant to be taken literally. God can and does do anything and everything. Obviously the conception of Jesus was not a human act...just like the flame bush (that didn't get consumed) was talking to Moses which was the LORD. He is a God of miracles. He is ALL POWERFUL quit trying to bring Him down to a level you can understand He is ALMIGHTY God and doesn't have to answer to you or anyone. I don't understand a lot about the scriptures BUT I KNOW they are the WORD of GOD Himself so I accept it. like it says in the Bible His throughts are higher than ours. peace out :)

Actually your not. The verses that explicitly state that the Father is the only true God from the mouth of Jesus, and those where Jesus says that his Father is
greater than he, the ones that state Jesus BECAME a life giving Spirit, God already was, those that say Jesus needed to be PERFECTED, and is now the High priest
unto God. These black and white or red and white scriptures you refuse, but those that seem spiritual you jump all over but they are not agreeing with the straight
forward verses. Once all things are put under the feet of Jesus by his Father he gives up the kingdom to the Father and is in subjection to the Father. How does God as Jesus
give up the kingdom to himself and then be in subjection to himself thereafter? Like I say your theology does not agree with the straight forward verses.
