Scriptural occurences are repeated through human history. An application of the 2 witnesses right now could be considered: America and Israel. Can it not?

The two witnesses will be Mosses and Elijah. Mosses was the law giver and Elijah is the prophet. Enoch will be antipas, the forerunner to sound the alarm that the two witnesses are on their way. Don’t think this info can be documented but scholars I’ve have read their work agree on this assumption. These three are the only three flesh men that have not seen a flesh death. God took Mosses for striking the rock instead of speaking to the rock that supplied the water for the children in the wilderness. If I remember right, Elijah performed eight miracles during his ministry here on earth and Elijah told his protege/sidekick, Elisha, if he saw him leave when God came to pick him up, he would receive a double portion.
The day Elijah was to be picked up by God, he told his protege/sidekick Elisha to stay home that day and Elisah said no way bro, I’m going with you. Well Elisah did see Elijah leave with God on that craft that God traverses the universe in and Elisha did receive a double portion. Elijah preformed eight miraclesduring his ministry and Elisah preformed sixteen miracles during his ministry.

Dakota...One of my favorite gifts from Jesus and His Holy Spirit is dreams and interpretation of dreams. Out of all the gifts...in dreams He comforts, teaches, warns, prophecies, gives revelation etc. When the Lord has me in a teaching or is uncovering a revelation. the dreams can continue for days or weeks and can also use others and their dreams to continue. It really has been the greatest blessing.
In your dream the two men speaking and you couldn’t hear anything is because their words were not received by the crowd in that city. None of them had ears to hear. Just like what happened to Jesus in many cities. Esp. his own hometown where He could not perform many miracles and He marveled about it.
In dreams, if you dream of a house or home...then its a ‘life’ ‘soul’ ‘temple’. Sometimes we can dream that we are in a home that feels like ours but in reality and in the physical it isn’t really our home when we are awake. That always means ‘your life’ ‘your soul’. So in your dream you saw a building and immediately the Lord told me its MANY LIVES AND SOULS...like a condo or apt. building.
The man that walks out is the Anti-christ, Satan and he calls (speaks) fire down from heaven. The book of Revelations is all symbolic. Given in visins in dreams and revelations. Nobody to date has really been able to interpret it. NOBODY! Only the two witnesses will be to properly interpret it. Satan will have his hour (time) to perform his earthly powers to deceive the whole world (includes christians). And nobody will see literal fire coming when commanding...he will speak and demons from the heavens (1st heaven where principalties are and they have authority) will give their ministers walking on earth to speak and perform miracles to continue to deceive and keep many from the truth and Word of God...where the TRUE POWER is! We have seen this from the beginning with Moses, Jezebel and her prophets, all the way to psychics, metaphysical, satanic etc practices today.
The two witnesses and the fire they breath is THE WORD OF GOD in the power of the Holy Spirit in all its fullness. Just like when Jesus spoke. So nobody will see actual fire...but their word, what they say is directly from Jesus and His Kingdom. And in ONE WORD...God has the power to turn to ash back towards the dirt that they worship.
And yes...the two witnesses are bookends. And the whole world will be shocked when the truth is revealed. God declared the ending from the beginning! However, many do jot understand the two creations in Genesis and why they are so different.
They wear sackcloth because these two have lived through the seven churches, have suffered spiritually beyond what anyone would care to! They have and will live through what all the prophets, teachers, apostles and disciples have and to be honest...NOT to many today would understand the truth of what that journey and those footsteps really mean!

I havent read all you wrote just glancing. You made me smile. For indeed the Two Witnesses are the Bookends of God. And the Fire that comes from there mouths is the Word ( when on the road to Amaus, when Jesus walked with His disciples. The Words from Jesus burned in thier hearts)

I am astounded at the amount of wisdom writing in your words.
It never occurred to me that only the Witnesses would be able to interpret Rev. It always seemed so easy, its understanding. Where the Seals begin, Jerusalem. The Heart of God. The First Seal, the Peace Treaty between Egypt and Israel. That no one will realize the Seals are being broken until the Sixth Seal ( they said to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us away from the One who sits on the throne and from the anger of the Lamb . For the Great Day of his anger has come, and who can survive it?)
That it was easy to understand the Beast that comes from the Sea. Is a Sea Change.
There is so much more.
For you to understand this walk i live. Or something of it. Wow. Lol.

No one will sound any trumpet for the Two Witnesses.
And you are not paying attention to little details. Yet they are set in the bible for us to learn from. John the Baptist is the example you are missing. He was born, had parents, grew up. Then the Lord lead him on his ministry. Jesus stated that John was Elijah, and that he would come again.
What everyone keeps saying or thinking is wrong. That the Two Witnesses will drop down from heaven. When the truth is, they are already here. Waiting . The Two Witnesses are very involved in the world in ways you do not understand. But im telling you, they ARE here. And when the time is right, they will be sent to Jerusalem.

Interesting for sure and out of my little understanding, yet I still try. The most common and seems practical expatiation of the 2 witness in the bible seem to be the two people in the bible that did not die. Since we know that the bible teaches everyone must die one time, I think it was Enoch and Elijah that were swept away and did not die. So many claim it is they who might be the two witness, sound very reasonable BUT it seems when man tries to figure out something that God has not shown us directly, well Gods ways are not mans so so we should not be to confident in thinking we know something when it is not clear.

maybe you can shed some light on the subject and share with me (us) why you say this?
brother hope all is well, I love reading your post. The rapture for me I personally do not know, I lean towards the second coming sometimes, then I sometimes I lean towards pre trib.
One thing that makes me lean towards pre trib sometimes is that God all through out the bible has spared his people o his wrath many times. Noah, Passover, Lock, I think there are other times as well.
But what I am getting out is this going to be the worst of all those times, so there is some reasoning that he would spare them again.
Then again God does promise trials and tribulations for believers all through the bible and tells us to endure to the end.
For me its really not that important, but it is fascinating to study. I know whats important is to serve God with all our heart mind and soul now and that will make me ready for anything. I ask the Holly Spirit every day to take me over fully so I can be a better disciple of my Lord and savior Jesus Christ .

In the bible when talking of the Messiah, terms you will hear from old testiment. "Suddenly" in your mist. And it is repeated a few times. But we know of Jesus and a partial life and upbringing.
Jesus also states, no prophet is welcome in his own home. And this example is seen with Jesus and the lack of faith in His own home town.
So who is ever greater than Jesus. If even Jesus says no prophet. Even the Witnesses are called the prophets of God. So too they must have home towns to grow up in

You are so very right about catholics and protestants being on same page. As our enemies will take all of us down if we can not stand together.
As for the Witnesses, thier purpose, although they themselves are Christians. Thier purpose goes out to everyone.
I want to add this. Although the Witnesses have the power given to them to destroy the planet (basically) they also have all the gifts of the Spirit. All these include healing and multiplying the fish, so to speak. They will be a blessing to the Christians in this time of hardship

The hoax of the rapture, like so many other misleading teachings of today. Are only here for one purpose, to set everyone up to fail.
I guarentee that the Two Witnesses will be here in our lifetime. But the question should be, being asked. Are we ready . And i would say, as a whole. Christains are not ready. Every church that teaches this great escape theology are not properly preparing thier flocks.
And the moment when the mark of the beast is presented to you. It will be the hardest thing for many Christian to refuse.
Think of it this way. What if inquiring the mark includes having a cell phone, and i mean any cell phone. Would anyone here be able to never use thier cell phones again
This is just an example. But think about that. Could you live without it.
So you see, whatever the mark is, it will be much worse not to have it

The entire book of Revelations is symbolic. It was never meant to be interpreted literally or on a time line. In the spiritual, with the Holy Spirit from God’s Kingdom...there is no time. I have always felt that has been our curse.
So when you mention Jerusalem and “the mountains falling on us”... immediately I received the words of Yahushua (Jesus) when He taught in Mathew 21...
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
Matthew 21:21-22 KJV
Why would He say that and WHY would it be connected to the mountains falling on people in Revelation because of the wrath of God?
Because TREES in the entire bible are Souls or a Man/Woman (Human).
From the very beginning until the very end. Read Psalm 1 for confirmation. God NEVER changes!
God also uses mountains and hills to describe principalities and tribulations. We see this in Mt. Carmel, Mt. Sion and Mt. Zion, etc.
And if you finally understand Rev. 21:17 then the Bible from the beginning to end make more sense!
‘And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, THAT IS, OF THE ANGEL.’
So...here we are...
They cry out to the mountains and rocks that they worshiped and followed ‘fallen angels (Man)...1st Creation in Genesis...
“FALL ON US and HIDE US from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!”
Cities also God has used as describing certain souls (Man/Woman) in the entire bible. In Revelations He even describes the Earthly Jerusalem as “Spiritualy Sodom and Gomorrah”...that is the truth of what He feels about it in His Kingdom.
So now.....meditate and pray and read and think. Who are the Two Witnesses???

I have not had dreams but have been shown (Through the Holy Spirit)who the Two Witnesses are. I was quite surprise to learn they are not who most suggest (scholars and all) like Elijah and Moses. But that was a personal revelation. I hope to see if I meet anyone else who may know and reveal in a post somewhere. I have shared who they are but some people get very upset.... I think because they did not see what I see in God's word. C'est la vie!
What I have been shown and taught clearly is that the Two Witnesses are not anyone who has already proclaimed to be them. Nor will you ever hear them making such statements. These two have to share their Testimony, teach, witness and glorify God. The difference with these two is the power, miracles and wonders that come with them. But it will always be through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. And in visions, I always see them stay in God’s Word and be able to teach His Word like nobody can today. These two have walked and I feel are still walking through a wilderness until they come forward. Very humble individuals. Not needing titles such as “Prophets”, “Teachers”, “Apostles”, “Pastors”, “Priests”.
Also, just like John the Baptist came “in the power of Elijah”...these two come in the same power as those individuals that most are waiting to appear on stage...Moses, Elijah, Enoch, etc. At the end, the ONE power they all had in common was THE HOLY SPIRIT! In your previous writing you stated only the Witnesses could fully interpret. Why would attempt it then

The Two Witnesses were born by mothers and grew up in families. They have friends that are close. They both possess a great love for God. And when the time came. God asked each, if they would be His Witness. Once accepting the struggle, they both walked in the Fire of God. They have grown in fairh and love, not really accepted by most.
They work eat and sleep, and God is ever with them. Thier gifts are endless (Gifts of the Holy Spirit)

The Witnesses will be known by a few, those they share with, but as for proclamation on a large scale, that would be correct.
It would be the same as Jesus. Few knew who he was, until John the Baptist told ppl to follow him.
As for sharing thier testimory, i highly doubt that will happen. But who knows, maybe to the Christians at that time.
You Sir are like a light switch. Lol the first text i had read, the Holy Spirit was clearly in your words. Then the next txt i read, the Holy Spirit was not in them. And in this txt its a little of both.
I can tell the difference.
Tell me, knowing what we do of Jesus. Was the prophet wrong when he said God will suddenly be in your mist.
