I know there will be different opinions but overall what do us Christian people as one feel about it?

Any "religion" or "god" is sin and nothing but Satan and demon worship.
In school we are studying different religions, polytheistic and monotheistic. To sum up what I learned was the people who are polytheistic believed in more than one God, and monotheistic people believed in just one God. most monotheistic people believe that Jesus or some other god is our savior depending on where you live, polytheistic people believe that there are multiple Gods and they have to follow those Gods rules. What i'm hearing from here is that other Gods and beliefs are a sin? I'm confused. Could someone clear that up for me? & thanks for your time :)

Well, I do perceive one thing. We got one "GOD" and He covers it all. and matter of Fact He told his SON to Create ALL Creation and what to Create, even time itself. HE even gave His SON The Power to come down here and walked among his own Creation and The POWER to Raise Himself Up from The DEAD!:eyes: And HE did,, send US "THE PARACLETOS" to Live in us, to EMPOWER us, to believe HE is The "GOD"! and That HE is THE ONLY GOD that exist!:relieved: You cannot believe in This GOD, unless HE EMPOWERS you to believe.

Now a "FINITE Brain, cannot "Comprehend" that! Because it has Not The "ABILITY" to Comprehend that which is "Incomprehensible"! I KNOW, you trying to Connect The Finite with The INFINITE and that is Impossible by The FINITE mind!:sob: I know you think I am playing with you but I am not! I came in contact with "INFINITE" in 1977, They thought I had Lost my MIND! I went from a christian to become beyond christianity, and became a child of The Living GOD, "BORN from ABOVE"!:eyes: Now I know! And I do not, have to believe HE EXISTS and I KNOW He is real!:eyes:
I ain't , the fake, I am The Real McCoy, and I ain't "EMILY POST" and a graduate of "CHARM SCHOOL"! I am from The HOOD! And I got Jesus Christ all over me! AND pump up By The Power of GOD! FULL of The "Holy Ghost" and I ain't speaking in "tongues":eyes:

Now, and I know you're lost now, by my speech. But I am a "WITNESS" this GOD is REAL and HE Ain't Power, he gives Out POWER like candy in HIS POCKET, so you can tell the story about JESUS and HIS FATHER and The SPIRIT that EMPOWER US TO TELL The TRUTH about GOD!

And one day, All Eternity, "beyond the farthest horizons" from the outskirts of the universe! is a part of our "INHERITANCE in Christ Jesus" The Father is going to do something brand new for us! AND Our ETERNAL BEING is GOING to Brighter Than SUN in Its Strength throughout ALL ETERNITY where There is NO END! EVEN HEAVEN itself is Going to amazed at our APPEARANCE. Heaven's Creatures, are going to be spell bounded when we get there!:eyes:

Go ahead believe those Professors all you want! You better read your bible and pray That GOD gives you insight. and stay away from those pastors!

"when the blind leads the blind ,they both fall into the ditch":eyes:

This GOD in whom we believe, His Son, CREATED everything that exists, because He told HIS Son to do it! His Son created Angels, HEAVEN, AND THE DEVIL! The Sun the Moon and The UNIVERSE and The LIGHT and THE DARK! The Son did that by a command:eyes:

Now with your FINITE MIND, set down and think. Who are you going to believe? The Professor?:sob: you know what it takes to get the grade, but who are you going to believe? at the end of DAY? The Book that talks about THE ONE GOD?

I try to stay far far far away from such religions because I associate them with witchcraft and the powers
of darkness.

I see it as a search for spirituality without bringing someone under submission to God.

I believe it is easy for people to talk about mother nature and spiritual energies and how
God is everywhere, instead of talking about Father God, because Father God makes demands
on us and mother nature does not.

Let's clarify.
God is the Christian God. There are not Gods only "gods" of other religions.
God does not share his power and authority with anyone. He is the Top Guy.
Regardless of what they believe it's either fake; made up by a person like the Mormon "religion" by that scammer Joseph Smith.
Islam is nothing but the ramblings of a butt-hurt whiny, angry pedo boy who twisted God and everything Christian into Islam.
"There is only one way through Jesus Christ." Simple and other people's "beliefs" and "opinions" are irrelevant.

so other religions are irrelevant?

so other religions are irrelevant?
Totally irrelevant in Spiritual Terms. There's ONLY ONE NAME in whom People can be saved from their SIN - i.e. Jesus, and His SIN OFFERING on the cross. ALL OTHER religious systems led directly to HELL.

So all this talking about other religions is garbage, my professor must feel stupid.

so other religions are irrelevant?
As God is the only Authority, Creator, and Judge yes.
No Christian can support any of them in any way.
Nowhere does God, the Bible, or anyone it say we "must" respect other religions.
Technically and by definition Christianity is one but what is is, is not what this world thinks.
Most on the outside are ignorant of it for various reasons and even many Christians are wrong about it.

I'm sure he doesn't feel stupid AT ALL!!!!

I'm EQUALLY SURE that He would think (if he even knew me) that I'm STUPID, and TOTALLY OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY!!!! And - he'd have plenty of academic company.

Oh well.

Most non-Christians schools don't have classes covering religion.
If you take a U.S. History class it will touch on it but you won't learn but a fraction and lies until a good college professor corrects public school mistakes.
Schools used to be places of higher learning and when many didn't get in or dropped out they moved on with their life. Now, these mental midgets think they have to go and someone else has to pay for it.

Yeah it's my U.S history class that we're learning about religion.

Professor told us that Christians didn't want Pagans so they replaced all of the Pagan holidays with Christian holidays.

A religion is simply a form of worship toward something some beleive to be a divine being. But they of course cant be all right, so its important to find out the truth. Truth Can be found easily in a bible, I encourage you to start reading one starting in the new testament which is Matthew.

Dear Aiden,
Here is an excerpt from a Book that my son gave me years ago, that I have used, and passed on to other for their own knowledge. The part on Wicca has a bit more then I'm adding here, but I typed the main part that should help you to see the differences between Wicca, Witchcraft, and Christianity.

Definition of Wicca that you might find of interest: wicca | Search Online Etymology Dictionary

Title of Book: They All Can't Be Right
Author: Steve Russo
Date: 2004 (So a little time since it's come out, but still a good reference to have, because of the short concise overviews of the different religions.)

Key Differences between Wicca, Witchcraft, and Christianity

There are significant differences between what Wiccans--those involved in witchcraft--and Christians believe. Here are some of the important ones.
  • Most Wiccans believe in some form of reincarnation. For witches, reincarnation is different from what a Buddhist or Hindu believes. Instead of endless "karma," witches view reincarnation as something positive that takes the soul upward in its advancement toward godhood. Christians do not believe there are additional chances to come back and keep advancing our soul to new levels. The Bible is very clear when it says we die only once and then we are judged (Hebrews 9:26-28; 2 Peter 2:9).
  • Wiccans believe they can influence reality through invoking invisible spirits and powers. They believe that magic is the craft of witchcraft. Using magic, witchcraft, or invisible spirits is detestable to God and something He will not tolerate (Deuteronomy 18:9-13; Isaiah 8:19).
  • The Wiccan view of salvation can be summed up with this statement: "we can open new eyes and see that there is nothing to be saved from; no struggle of life against the universe, no God outside the world to be feared and obeyed. Christians believe that we are all born with a spiritual terminal disease called sin that causes us to disobey God and go our own willful way. This causes us to be separated from God. The remedy was Christ's death on the cross (Romans 3:23; 6:23; Isaiah 59:2; 1 Timothy 2:35; 1 Peter 3:18).
  • Wiccans believe that experience is a more important revelation that any code of belief, and it's more important to reveal your own truth than to rely on doctrine. Christians believe that the most important revelation of truth is the Bible (Psalm 119:47, 72, 97; 2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12).
  • Wiccans worship the earth and creation. They recognize the divinity of nature and all living things. Christians believe in worshipping the Creator not the creation (Deuteronomy 4:29; Romans 1:25; Jude 25).
  • Wiccans believe that people have their own divine nature: "Thou art Goddess, thou art God." Christians believe that even though we are created in God's image, humanity is still sinful and fallen (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 5:12). The Bible clearly teaches that all kinds of wickedness come from within a person not div8inity (Jeremiah 17:9; Mark 7:14-23).
  • Wiccans do not believe that Jesus was God in the flesh or Creator of the universe. They view Jesus as "a great white witch who knew the Coven of Thirteen." The key principle that sets Christianity apart from any other religion is the belief that Jesus is God. One of the names for Jesus in the Bible is Immanuel--which means "God with us" (Matthew 1:21-23; John 1:1, 14, 18; 8:24; Philippians 2:5-6).
Keep growing in God's Word!!!

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

But they of course cant be all right, so its important to find out the truth.

Yes, but everyone claims to know the truth.
Virtually all these pagan 'gods' want some sacrifice from you that hurts you in some way.
Sacrifice your food to us. Sacrifice your children to us. Cut yourselves with knives, or else we'll do something bad to you.

The God of the Bible is the opposite He made the ultimate sacrifice for you, so that you wouldn't have to.
He sent His only Son to die in your place, so you don't have to.
That's the big difference between my God and all the others.

Other 'gods" and religion don't care who gets hurt. Sacrifice yourselves, sacrifice your children for my sake.
Start wars in my name. Torture people, kill people, enslave people.. and kill them if they don't agree with my way.

The God of the Bible...
love one another, bear one another's burdens, pray for one another, don't lie to each other.
Don't kill, don't steal from other people, don't get girls pregnant that you're not willing to support or marry,
don't sleep with other people's spouses. Don't follow and worship the other god's who promote these things.
... why would you follow anyone else? What's not to like?

Professor told us that Christians didn't want Pagans so they replaced all of the Pagan holidays with Christian holidays.
If their "gods" were real and "powerful" wouldn't they have stopped that from happening?
IMO and experience that's a very good stance.
If the Christian God didn't exist then why is it the major world religion?
Islam is nothing but the evil, twisted, perversion of it.
In one part in the Bible one guy built an alter to God. The pagans at that time built one to their "god". They spent half a day doing all sorts of things to get their "god" to do something. Killed. Cut themselves. Hurt themselves and who knows what. I can't remember his name but the Christian guy prayed to God who then burned up BOTH altars and sacrifices which had liquid and nothing was left.
Don't get it wrong Satan and demons exist but when compared to God and given evidence NONE of them stack up anywhere near God.
If you need more evidence for God and Creation I have plenty. It's not mine but from many people who know a lot more than most people.
