The tribulation has not yet occurred. If it had the prophecy of Daniel chapter 7 of the fourth beast kingdom would already have been in place. A ten nation kingdom and three horns or kingdoms have to fall first then a little horn or smaller king will rise, the Antichrist. The Antichrist had to be in power during the first seal. He is the rider of the white horse. None of this has occurred yet so the tribulation has not begun.

The church is mentioned in the first four chapters in the book of Revelation. After that the church isn't mentioned again until the 19th chapter at the marriage supper of the lamb. The church doesn't go through the tribulation. The tribulation is "Jacobs trouble" For Israel for the purpose of their repentance and to finally accept Jesus as their Savior. Luke 13:35 Jesus tells the Jews they will not see him again until they say "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord" and this will take place during the second half of the tribulation and scripture says when they see him coming in the clouds and they will mourn when they see the one they pierced. The church has been promised to be kept from the hour of trial, the tribulation. Revelation 3:10. When believers are saved, we are saved from the wrath of God. The tribulation is the period of God's wrath. We are saved by grace and don't need to go through the tribulation for salvation. This is the blessed hope that is spoken of in Titus 2:11-14, our salvation by grace that keeps us from the judgement set forth for those who are not saved and refuse to repent. God's judgement begins with the opening of the first seal in Chapter six. Because the church is not under judgement we will not enter the tribulation but will be raptured before hand.
1 Thessalonians 2:13-18. Like verse 18 says, keep encouraging one another with these words.

That kind of idea comes from those who literalize the signified understand or parable. The book of Revelation. God sets the standard in the first chapter first verses . No only sent it as prophecy but also gives us the hidden manna (What is it? ) or poetic understanding called hidden mana in Chapter 2:17

A pregnant woman knows how birth pain begin mild then gradually increase in intensity and frequency and the closer to birth it gets worse and much closer together. We are at the end of the birth pains almost ready to give birth to the tribulation and I believe what has to happen before the tribulation begins is the rapture because that's what we are saved from is God's judgements. Our salvation from His judgement will be made manifest at Jesus glorious appearing when he comes for his Bride

Just look at Matthew 24 alone should tell you what's going on in the world is prophetic.

The tribulation began at the time of the first century reformation . The beginning of the last days. The trouble of Jacob .We are in the last days. The thousand yeas is clearly signified used in that parable as a unknown .

Jesus said its and evil generation natural non-converted that seeks after sign to wonder . God does not number person or days .

Christ who reigns in us will leave like a thief in the night on the last day

Who said something has to occur ? The year day or hour no man knows. . .The Spirit of the Son of man will go on the last day under the sun as a thief in the night .We can watch like Noah a born again believer but God does not gives dates or number people he desires we walk by faith trusting the unseen things of God. We are not to be with them of the number those who compare themselves to themselves as a venerable hierarchy of men government . No direct signs were given other than the signs of the times the rise and fall of empires (moral issues the key ) As things have been going on from the beginning yes , Sign today to wonder and guess about no .

The last wonder was fulfilled in the Son of man, Jesus the sign of Jonas the prophet. the testimony took away the wondering of Jonah .Jesu did the will of the Father with delight.

Luke 11:29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.

The question I would ask is where is the bride of Christ the church not in the book of Revelation?

There are many injustices ․․․ And Christians are being martyred for their faith in our days , many churches are being destroyed by war bombs !! I want to know too where are we exactly in the book of Revelation.. Many are waiting and praying to our lord Jesus for a salvation...

The Tribulation Period

This period is also a period of salvation. A body of 144,000 people of Israel are sealed. Another group called 'the Blood-Washed Multitude' is saved during the 'Great Tribulation' the last 3 1/2 years of this period they are not the Church but they have accepted the Savior after the Church has been taken up to be with Christ

So these folks are saved , 'washed in the blood' , and have accepted the Savior.
BUT they are not in the Church . Hard to even think of a worse lie than this one, we, as members of the American church have no complaint when it comes to 'fake news' we invented it.

My simple, easy, basic response is that I have found if folks believe the coming of Jesus is close they tend to straighten up their lives really really tight

Well 'we' aren't the one who saves anyone. But we Can be sharing the gospel unto salvation with whoever is willing to listen. And maybe have the opportunity to lead someone to Christ.

If you know that your time on earth is getting short and salvation for the lost has an expiration date, then it behooves us who are already believers to work extra hard to save who we can.

It is also whats wrong with a poor understanding. We have lived as bugs afraid of the future for 150 years and the results of believing men leaving every post for the enemy, as it were, are what we see in our cultural decay today. Rather than the pre-ordained failure of the Gospel in history as preached all over TV Radio and churches we are merely gathering the harvest of what we have planted.
History like the earth is God's alone. He sent Christ to earth (history) to gain back that which Adam lost in history. So it only makes sense that Christ's work, which by nature is greater than Adams fall, will be realized in history. And this will come through the means Jesus personally told us was the best possible situation for winning the war. Specifically Christ Jesus enthroned in Heaven and the Holy Spirit bringing men to repentance through the church on earth gradually .
