Yep, "will be" and at the time that Jesus spoke these words, the crucifixion was in the future.John 12:31 "will be'

Verb - Future Indicative Passive - 3rd Person Singular
Strong's 1544: To throw (cast, put) out; I banish; I bring forth, produce. From ek and ballo; to eject.
But not when He spoke these words -
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

It breaks my heart when I see believers reject this verse.

So now, "NOW" means "NOT NOW" but "LATER" ??
