Yeah right. lolNot trying to be argumentative, but if I see a guy looking at a good-looking woman (or vice versa), I can pretty much know what they are thinking about...
Kind of like a pastor telling a church full of people there is someone there with an addiction problem. The chances of someone relating to that is strong.
Actually though, the charismatic people I have talked to call it prophecy. The spiritual gift of the word of knowledge would be what you might be referring to here, and it is a legitimate gift of the Spirit given to certain people who are saved and walking with God (as all of the spiritual giftings are),
As for myself I think the gift of knowledge might be one with knowledge about the scriptures.
All I know is that I don't want to go to a church with people telling me what I am thinking about or what they say is going to happen to me good or bad, because the people who do that in those churches have beliefs I think are wrong and I'm just not going there period.however, this is very different from demonic sources...of course. One who claims to be telepathic is not a person receiving his information from the Spirit of God.
I know of people that have out of body experience and their spirit was seen, so no, it is false teaching by those who say ghosts/spirits seen are demons. Not just Pentecostals...but anyone who knows the facts on the subject. A "ghost" is supposed to be the spirit of a dead human being that for whatever reason cannot "cross over." The Bible tells us that when a human being dies, he either goes to hell or to heaven immediately - no human spirits "linger" on earth because that is not how God has arranged things to be. A "ghost" is a manifestation of a demon, because that is all that it could be, and they do that masquerading for the purpose of drawing people into deception to keep them away from God...just like UFO's.
Apostle Paul even spoke of an out of body experience with his spirit, and he is no demon.
