Wouldn’t that sound silly if Jesus told Mary after his resurrection to go find me a man (male) so I can send him to go tell my brothers I am risen from the dead? Jesus tells her (a women) to go tell my brothers (male) that I have risen from the dead. The very first preacher of the New Testament was a women. I guess Jesus did not know women are allowed to speak the Gospel to men under any circumstances. Who wants to tell Jesus today he made a huge mistake?

You can define preaching any way you like, that's ok. I'm saying that Christ sending Mary Magdalene to tell the men that Christ has risen does not make her a pastor of the Church or give her any authority over man.

You're talking about teaching and preaching outside the appointed office of the Church. I'm talking about the appointed office of pastor inside the Church as Paul gave instructions.

These women who call themselves pastors are not in the will of God, and have stepped out of their role and place in the Church.

When I was younger we (some of my Church friends) would go out on the weekends street preaching anywhere in the city we could get permission.

We did this for years and brought many into the Church. I was preaching the Gospel and teaching the Gospel, but I was not a pastor of a Church.

You are wrong according to the scriptures as a woman (Mary) was never allowed to preach/teach the Gospel to any man according to your Church doctrine.

1Ti 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

Why would Jesus send a "woman" to preach the Gospel to men that is against scripture?

When are you going to understand that I'm talking about the official appointment of making a woman a pastor?

The official office that Paul gave the qualifications in becoming a pastor.

It's an entirely different story outside the official positions in the Church, as we see in Scripture.

Outside these official positions of the Church a woman can witness to a man, and even give him a sermon.

But again, she can hold no official appointment in the Church that gives her authority over a man.

That is not what you said earlier. Women are never allowed to preach to men. Can women be a prophet in the Church? That is a ministry gift, which allows women to proclaim the divine counsels of God in a Church. But wait women are not allowed to speak in the Church if men are present according to your Church doctrine.

I have said for the entire conversation that a woman cannot have authority over a man, that means having the authority of pastor or teacher over a man.

Of course a woman outside that official appointment can witness to a man or explain the Gospel in sermon style if they desire.

And what purpose would a prophet serve today as we have the full Word of God to guide us?

Hey Charlie....don't tell that to me! You go tell God He's wrong

What makes an appointment official? God sending or man sending?

Who sets in the Church ministry gifts? Not men! What does a modern New Testament prophet say today?

1Co 14:3 But [on the other hand], the one who prophesies [who interprets the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching] speaks to men for their upbuilding and constructive spiritual progress and encouragement and consolation. (AMP)

Does this sound useful to the Church?

We have all we need in God's Word, with the Holy Spirit guiding, you have no need of a so-called prophet.
If we don't need prophets then we also don't need pastors, teachers, evangelists, or apostles either.

That's not what the Word says. Paul said "

1 Corinthians 14:38-40 King James Version

38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
You really do need to learn the Word....Let the Holy Spirit teach you

Curtis, we totally disagree on what a prophet is. A prophet is not a pastor, it's one of the 9 gifts apart from the office of pastor.

A prophet that gives prophecies is one who foretells, not one who preaches.

We will also disagree on whether all the gifts are still in effect.

I'm not going to pick up the beat to death gifts of the Spirit again. It's been worn out of late.
