I'd seen the word "effeminate " but didn't know what it meant. Can a guy Choose to act that way?

An “effeminate” man in this verse is one who has rejected his masculinity and identifies as a female. He may or may not be sexually active, but he has chosen to live intentionally as a “soft and delicate” person, rather than embrace His God-given identity as a man. He takes on the characteristics of a female and relates to other males much like women do.

“Effeminate” is not necessarily referring to homosexuality and only homosexuality. Having a soft side, like caring and compassion that are traditionally attributed to female, is not a weakness but a strength for a man. Jesus was caring and showing compassion all the time. Some even suggest that Holy Spirit is the female side of the trinity since "ruah" is female form in hebrew, Holy Spirit gives life like woman does, God made male AND FEMALE in his image. Call it a heresy if you want, I think that makes sense. That's not being “effeminate”. An “effeminate” man is being neglectful and irresponsible in general. And BECAUSE they are being neglectful and irresponsible, the burden falls on women's shoulders, women have to be "muscular" by taking up the responsibilities they left behind. This is a social issue, weak men are creating hard times, and the devil tells you that this is genetics from birth.

Being feminine does not always mean being gay. You can be a masculine man, and still be having sex with another man.
You can even be a heterosexual man married to a woman and still have a feminine demeanor.

There is something called Swyers Syndrome. There are people called hermaphrodites, that are born with both male and female genitals.
Its very rare (affects about 1 in 87,000). But as of 2023, none of these people have both male and female chromosomes. Also none of these
people have both sets of genitalia in working order. No one can get their-selves pregnant.

Isn't it how a person responds To the attraction?! A person can Choose to embrace it or turn away from it. By embracing a wrong kind of relationship, a person is enabling the other person to do something that you know is wrong. And if it's appropriate- try to talk with the other person about why that particular attraction is wrong and should be avoided.

No one is born anything.
Sex AND gender are both biological. Hormones in correct levels in a man result in both physical and emotional development as a male. Same goes for women.
When things go WRONG and the "parents" purposefully allow such evil, sinful influences of the Alphabet people on a child changes (highly) are likely to happen.
A child who experiences those sinful variables MUST be taught they are not only wrong and abnormal but sinful and should be avoided.
Many people have turned from those sinful lifestyles.

researching this word brings up quite a different meaning to what has been bandied about in this thread - effeminate in the NT does not refer to males who use nail polish or like Barbie dolls -

I'm not entering the nature/nurture debate. Im challenging the claim that sexual orientation is a choice. I have never come across anyone - gay or straight - who has consciously made this choice.

@Hecuran. A baby is born either as male or female/ in rare occasions a baby born with neither male of female genitalia or parts of other genitalia. People need to be satisfied with what they are Born as.
People Do have a choice as to how they respond To same-sex attractions. Biblically sexual intimacy is only for married couples of opposite sex. Every one else is to refrain from that.
