Indeed, He never, NEVER, said that we are gods. He did say that the scripture saith it; but it is not so.
 
We must never reach beyond, "The Holy Scriptures"! and sometimes if "wine" offends my brother or sister, I will no longer drink "the fruit of the vine".

And we must all realize, it is into the "image of His Son" and even in to "eternity' we will always be forever learning about "Our Father", we will be forever, forever, forever, growing for all eternity, every moment where there is no moment, where there is no time. and a continuation from glory to glory. This Magnification of our existence does not stop as we reach "Heaven Throne and The Glorification garments we receives The Journey has Just began. The WORD "GOD" is a "human word' Can not you see, OUR Creator is so well BEYOND that WORD "GOD"! That is why we have to set our "Affections" beyond this WORLD and love nothing in it.. I am not allowed to say any more.:neutral:

God is Omnipresent. Why treat him as one of us? He said that he is Spirit And, we MUST worship him in spirit and TRUTH. Spiritually, the TRUTH of the matter is He is all powerful and He existed before the foundation. You are acting too much like a human and looking and not looking at the spiritual side of this. Any Astrophysicist would tell you in the spiritual realm, were God resides, there is no up or down and no time as we know it. Jesus, same as God, said that He is the beginning and the end and I believe that this is at the same time. God knocks on your door and who EVER opens, He will come in. God has the power to know before the foundation, who opens the door and hence, whos name goes into the Book of Life.

It seems to me, it's the chicken and the egg syndrome and no-one has ever figured that one out.

John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will remain - so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.

Here you intimate that the believer, hears the knock and responds. That means that the believer has chosen. Jesus says he didn't choose, so who is right?

If Jesus says He didn't choose, where is that said? And who is speaking in John 25:16, which you quoted?
 
A person can not become a "son" of God until the "Son" of God lives in them. We are never called the Son of God but we are called the sons of God!

The only reason why ALL men are given the choice to choose between life or death is because God "choose" to reveal himself to man first! This was done because of God's "grace"

I didn't "intimate " anything..
It's in the Bible..read Revelation 3:20, what does it say to you?
 
I am consider bad, how in the world, Jesus is going to knock on someone's door! And then They are supposed to let him n.
1. If there is a door, and how do you open it.
2. If you can open a door, you just open a door to somebody you do not even know.
3. Sinners do not know Jesus's voice.
4. Evangelism. Is more than repeating a bunch of words . And are you giving instructions or talking about what people are not doing! In evangelism?
5. I have used the term: "Knock, knock, who's there". In street type "Evangelism" with kids and Adults in my earlier years.
I guess I was kinda arrogance, with such a disgraceful term: to used in my presentation of Jesus Christ". And I am sorry it does not meet your approval! "Your Highness"!

What it says to me Born again, is that the message in Revelation was written to a church in Laodicea. I didn't know that there were any churches in existence before the world was made. I'm not being facetious, but could it be, that those whose names were written in the book of life before the world was made, were created with hearts that would naturally embrace the truth, and those whose names were not in the book, were created with hearts that would naturally reject the truth? Jesus sent out the disciples to preach the gospel, could it be, that those whose names were written in the book, when they heard the gospel, realised who they were, and in joy, embraced it, whereas, to those whose names were not in the book, it made no sense? Romans 9:21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use? I'm just learning how to follow the teachings of the Spirit Born Again, I'm not trying to win arguments. bless you.

John 15:14-17 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. 16 You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. 17 This is my command: Love each other. There is no John 25, Born Again. and Jesus said that the believer didn't choose. It might help matters, if you take more care in reading posts before you misquote them. bless you
