The Creator is a wonderful Being to keep all these as our sun lit up!

We have not wondered way off scripture, the Scripture is written upon our hearts!

We have the rights to form our opinions as we are led. When we view something as Truth it is then has meaning.

Dear Brothers and sisters,

Our intentions in ministry are to glorify God, receive blessings, be a witness to the unsaved, and be good examples to other Christians.

When we share another view that is important to us as individuals and may have some significance to God's Word, we are going to face opposition. The trap we fall into is how we react that will have an impact on our witness.

Zscripture, first of all, you and I just disagree, plain and simple. Thats ok, brother.
I posted prayerfully and was led to only post twice. Then I got out of God's way and let Him take charge. After all, God is in the House and its His call, not mine.

How you react to my post is up to you, Zscripture, seriously, and that is what you did. I was not led to keep score, (mind you, I am speaking for myself) and come back "atcha" with another post, and yet another post. I am not producing fruit if I do this.

When I was at another site, "spiritual" forum last November, I noticed all the hindus, muslims, atheists, etc., were all rubbing shoulders with each other. That is easy to do. But when they learned more about me being a rep of Christ, boy, did I get slammed! Especially when I started to share about Jesus second coming, the only way to our Father is through Jesus Christ, communion wafers don't taste as good as crackers, my flesh was ripe to single out everyone and rebuttal, (once again, I am speaking for myself) I felt unloved, backed up against the wall, and all that. But that was not God who was making me feel this way. I made my point the first time and was not going to convince them the second, third, or fifth time through text. They just did not agree. So I let go and let God.

Zscripture, the fruit I am trying to stimulate is, after the rain, where do you and I stand? I know you are a brother in Christ. I know you seek eternal life, and I know in your heart you want others to be saved, amen? If there is spiritual battle and I see you along side with me, man! I know that is God who put us together so I am honored to fight side by side with you, Zscripture! There may be disagreement here, and yes, many of the posts may have stung (I know what it feels like too) but the difference here at Talk Jesus is you are still loved, man. Praise God and praise Him for you, Zscripture.

Astrology and Astronomy is where your heart is along with scriptures. You read my posts. We may disagree, ok..So what else am I going to do? Its in God's hand. I really don't know the answer to your suggestion about starting a seperate forum.

We will always be students of the Lord and its tough to keep an open heart but everytime we get past another chapter, it makes us stronger. I hope all of us in this thread will too.

However I do not feel comfortable with your summary in the very last part of your post where "Astrology and Astronomy is where your heart is along with scriptures"

The word astrology denotes the occult to me and I avoid literature and studies of that nature as do I avoid mythology also.

Scripture and Astronomy IS where my interests are, as well as Botany.

The zodiac and star names are in astrology and astronomy, the fact is no one knows where the original names and symbols came from because they are so ancient!

Astrology attempts to practice divination concerning the best time for events by the placements of the planets throughout the constellations.

Astronomy is the science of the celestial bodies and of their magnitudes motions and constitutions. The zodiac patterns is used not to divine, but to group sections of the sky off as patterns so objects of interest can be located.

The zodiac (star names and the constellations) in the most ancient archeological finds points to one original form, my writtings are to illustrate this form and what the ancient star names means. I believe these were given by God to set forth His plans as the first alphabet to us.
6000 years later they speak of Christ! However as a miracle because they have been corrupted by forming into idols, adding and taking away from the originals, destroyed, forgotten etc. I feel I am to preserve and pass on this
alphabet from antiquity.

I do feel uncomfortable at this forum when I am ranted and raved at and can not post my research which is focused on the Seed of the woman - Jesus Christ, on a "Christian" forum.

I thought about moving the thread to the Evidence of Jesus Christ or the Scientific Facts section so I could start posting the last 12 constellations,
but on second thought the same would take place, it seems some hear what they want too instead of what is actually said.

Zscripture, you started this thread as "Gospel in the stars? Opinions please-" that opened a door for people to post their opinions and they have expressed them much to your dislike however, you opened that door.
Soldier of God, I must say the words that you have chosen to use are rather harsh, please do not resort to making accusations against zscripture. To me that is not showing love. You have made it clear you disagree so be it, but we are not here to attack our brothers and sisters. Do you do that when you are sitting around with your family members and attack them for what they say when you do not agree with them? Zscripture has never said once that he is into Astrology, that he himself is a servent of God.
Eph 4:15-16 "Instead, speak the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each posrt does its work."
Let's remember the words of Paul when speaking with each other.

However, the tactics of others are more underlying and deceptive.

Um – how many times do I need to write something everyone before you discern what I am saying instead of what your false witness portrays me as saying? Is there some magic number your seeking?

The zodiac and star names is in astronomy science! Astrological myths regarding these figures are not studied as truths, but referred to as false mis-conceptions of the ancient original patterns. The patterns I presented are not mythical figures but symbols with meaning, I tried to teach you how to read them – so much for the giving of teachers for some?

Where is that said? I thought we formed opinions and were free to believe as we see right, once we veiw it as Truth it then has meaning. If we veiw it as a lie of the devil and not Truth then why believe it?

My intentions were to illustrate what I think the first alphabet was, a symbol form of the work of our God and Savior. resent:
There is cosmic particles falling to the earth as dust constantly, perhaps I have breathed in too much of this some how, but I see the work of my Savior portrayed in these. :rainbow:

You need to know your place here, your righteous works are nothing to brag about because no not one is righteous.
You have no right to chastise me for doing my JOB here on talkjesus. Your time would be better served learning how to show love.

God placed the stars in the Heavens, each and every one of them, that is not disputable. How cool is that?

So when the wise men followed a star was that wrong? Everything starts from God so why not the heavens in the begiining of this thread I was unsure of the difference but once it was explained to me I understood where Z is coming from. Does that mean I agree? i really dont have an opinion. What I can say though is that alot of love is not being used in this thread. Realize when feelings are hurt or words like venom are being used. Hold yourself accountable for what you say.

As I said before, God made His plan of redemption clear to anyone who would look up, especially the ancient and primitive man. So that men are without excuse. (Romans 1:20) Abraham understood the message in the stars. However the Word of God completely surpasses the message of the stars.

I like our brother's wise warning about worshipping the creation rather than the creator. (Romans 1:25)

Also, it is very much a device of the Devil to take something Godly and good, and warp it into something evil that takes our trust and faith away from God. Astrology and Horoscopes are evil.

I haven't been on for a while because I'm having probs with my new broadband...
anyway, I thought I'd add my two cents worth on this thread which seems to be getting more and more controversial!

Firstly I do believe that God did write the Gospel message in the stars and that is what Abraham read. (see my first post for more info on this) I understand from your post Z that you do not agree with this, so my question is - if there is no Biblical precedent for the Gospel in the Stars why do believe in it so much?

Also, I strongly believe that the Word of God has surpassed the Gospel in the stars. The Word of God - the Bible - is our only infallible source of divine revelation. Nothing comes close to the Bible.

Thirdly, because of the movement of the sun through the milky way, we now have 13 signs in the Zodiac not 12. (Astrological charts are several thousands of years out of date.) Ophiuchus is now part of the Zodiac. The zodiac is simply the path of the sun through the sky. It is also the path of the moon and the planets. (I think many Christians have a hang up about the word Zodiac because of the enemie's corruption of it.)

By the way, the Hebrew equivalent of Zodiac is "Mazzaroth", and it is in the Old Testament scriptures!!! Other astronomical terms used in the Bible are constellation or Zodiacal sign: "Mazzalah" (strong's number 4208 if you want to check it out.)
