Abraham is called a father by faith because of the promise of Jesus Christ.
He is not our brother in Christ though, no matter how hard you want to make that connection.

I would offer, I beleive the Holy Spirit worked in the Son of man, Jesus giving him ears to both hear the will of the father and empower His Son to do it to the good pleasure of God . The government of peace two working as one in perfect agreement. .

The Lord informs some like His Son of man did the will of the father with delight others like Jonas the murmurer.( Philippians 2:13-14), The gospel, It speaks of that power that he freely gives to those yoked with his love. . making our burden lighter.
