Separation of Sheep and Goats

Hello James.

May I ask how you interpret the following verses.

Romans 9
10 And not only this, but there was Rebekah also, when she had conceived twins by one man, our father Isaac;
11 for though the twins were not yet born and had not done anything good or bad, so that God’s purpose according
to His choice would stand, not because of works but because of Him who calls,

12 it was said to her, “The older will serve the younger.”
13 Just as it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”

I'm not sure there's much to interpret? God foreknew, chose and called Jacob for Himself before Jacob was even born or had done anything good or bad. God's grace, blessing and love was given to Jacob, but not to Esau. And God doesn't choose someone randomly by chance, I think I know why God chose Jacob over Esau.

Regarding Esau.. the Edomites as a tribe were wiped out (genocide) and no longer exist (Obad 1).

Esau was not of the Spirit he was like the Jews, primary worldly.
Jacob was of the Spirit.
Don't get me wrong about the Jews as most christian people have very little understanding at all and i get sick of the childishness of it all.
Only orthodox Jews today like the Hasid are of any real worthiness.
Most Jews are just only modern socialist and the Zionist are sickening type of Nazi ultra nationalist mad men driven by hate. and we now have stupid foolish so called christians pushing this Jew is our salvation above Jesus Christ and such are the goats for sure.

Read this passage this morning, and was struck by the continuity (and the differences) between the prophecies of Jesus and Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 34.17-24
“‘As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats. Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet? Must my flock feed on what you have trampled and drink what you have muddied with your feet?

“‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. Because you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak sheep with your horns until you have driven them away, I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another. I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd. I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the Lord have spoken.

It's a fabulous passage. For me, being aware of this - surely Jesus had it in mind - diminishes the importance of the tribulation context in Matthew 25 and accentuates the universal appeal to justice and mercy being a central part of the account we will have to give of ourselves on Judgement day. Thoughts?
