Should we as born-again Christians expose and name heretics

Don’t we all? But isn’t it so hard to find these days? How many experts you know. And if we are in need, how would we know how to choose a good one? And out of which camp? “RCC”, JW, Baptist, Methodist, 7 day Advent, word of Faith, Episcopalian, Pentecostal, and Presbyterian all have “biblical counselling “ departments. All of them believe in Jesus and the Bible. Which one are “Heretics”?

Sue, you just have not really encountered a “Theologian” of Covenant [Reformed] Theology. That is why I’m strange to you.. you never heard Ministers or preachers, make a comment of attacking, making this statement, with their chest stuck out: “ Now for all of you “Theologians and Critical Scholars”. Yea, I am one of them, that is being attacked.

I have encountered many reform Covenant theology theologians in person and on line . IMO you do not fit that bill

I brought up Biblical counseling -- they help a person navigate through situations in their lives. They listen and help a person see a better - more effective way to doing 'whatever'. A more positive, Godly way of looking at life.

How to choose Good one? well -- your church pastor or Sunday School teacher could either sit down with you themselves and listen Or guide you to a counselor that they know who is qualified to help.

And a person can Also "Google" Biblical counselors.

And Why would someone of the 7th day Adventist belief system go to a RCC for counseling?!

Maybe a question for You? Are You a born-again Christian -- that has no bearing on how many theology books a person has read or which seminary they've gone to. Or how many years they've spent reading / studying God's Word.
A person can have a Wonderful head knowledge of Scripture and never have an inner hearts's belief and confessed with their mouth the Lord Jesus.

You have presented a really poor attitude lately -- really kind of sour -- and it's been suggested that may you're going through some 'stuff'.

Take all these things to God in prayer first -- ask for His help. Ask Him to guide you to someone who Can help.

Well You have that right to condemn what I have said. And term me a liar. We have the right to judge fruit, and I have been called just about everything in my life but a “ Child of God. Most likely I am worst than what they have called me. But I will not deny Him, He is My Father, My God, My Savior, and My LORD and I Love Him, And I Love His Word! The other things and titles in life doesn’t matter to me. The Title of a son of my mother and my father does not matter, the title of father does not matter, the title of a Doctor’s husband does not matter to me, the title of grandfather does not matter to me. The title of a “ Christian I refuse to wear’! I have neither really call myself as such and never will. All of these does not matter to me. So when you consider me a sinner and a false proclaimer I will wear it well. No hard feeling whatsoever. I’m just a slave, and one of the least of all and not even worthy to be called by my rightful name. One thing for sure, I prefer to hold my peace. God knows, I prefer to not say anything to all mankind. So am I evil , I guess I am. And if I end up in Hell, it is to glorify God, He is a just God and I deserved to be there. And if some feel like it is not up to God of my diestination but it is up to me where I end up. People may think what They may, that is why I may guess the reason God gave us a Personal Brain for, for personal thoughts. And for every word you speak both good or bad we will give account of what we say and think. So we all better give consideration of what we say and waste no time on what others say. Now just for a reminder: Some People of this world treat woman lightly, But concerning “Judgment “ God will not”!

Some years ago -- many years ago -- while visiting family - they went to a Reformed Baptist church. It was a fairly big church. Their song service was long and almost boring. The dreary songs and All verses were sung. And then a entire hour of preaching. It started out okay -- but it was church - not seminary.

Church is Supposed to be up-lifting -- not boring. Don't know what it's like Now. The average attention span is about 40 minutes.

Maybe people feel they are doing some good work by sitting through LONG preaching times.

I am not offended, or harm by any I will just keep my distance. My joy is full, my fellowship is full, I am not worried or sad, I have no questions, Holy Spirit is not grieved. “Godliness with contentment is great gain.” I’m not living in fear, God is Sovereign. I am what they called a “Calvinist” [Reformed]
Considered Dr. R.C. Sproul as my Mentor. And I think John Calvin as one of the greatest “Theologian” God has brought into every “Born from Above” Christian life, even though they no not know it. And I do not like the term “Calvinism” neither did John Calvin. “Reformed Theology” [Covenant] is the correct term. Not Calvinism! For the record.
