Its no boast, scripture has a massive amount of examples of some doing what we now consider great things "through" the power of the Lord, and yes bragging on yourself about it isnt good, but this isnt bragging about it, its a point of contention amoung sooooo many christians that feel you must be ordinary or you are bragging. I would agree God is still doing good things through his living word as it is writen. A fool says in their heart there is no God. Christians can do foolish things that show they were not thinking about God But they cannot deny its power to draw us to repent and return to our first love hearing God's understanding believe God as he works with us.
