The Dangerous Lie That You Don’t Need to Repent

God is not served by the dying hands as a will of mankind

Nonsense. Almost every story in the Bible is about someone doing something for God.
Here is an excerpt from just one chapter of a book in the Bible.

Heb 11:4 By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained the testimony that he was righteous, God testifying about his gifts, and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks.
Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he would not see death; AND HE WAS NOT FOUND BECAUSE GOD TOOK HIM UP; for he obtained the witness that before his being taken up he was pleasing to God.

Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going.
Heb 11:9 By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise;
Heb 11:10 for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
Heb 11:11 By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.

Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son;
Heb 11:18 it was he to whom it was said, "IN ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS SHALL BE CALLED."
Heb 11:19 He considered that God is able to raise people even from the dead, from which he also received him back as a type.
Heb 11:20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau, even regarding things to come.
Heb 11:21 By faith Jacob, as he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.
Heb 11:22 By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the exodus of the sons of Israel, and gave orders concerning his bones.
Heb 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's edict.
Heb 11:24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,
Heb 11:25 choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,

All of these things were done by humans serving God. God is absolutely served by mankind (dying flesh as like to call it).

Christ does all the work of salvation', 100% correct and sound.

Calvinist hogwash.

I find it interesting you put a like on this post. (but I suppose you can remove it)

No amount of works could ever prove that a person as any faith, but true faith does produce works of righteousness.

Anybody can have works without faith, but nobody can have faith without works.

Works without faith produces works of iniquity.(I never knew you…)

More unbiblical Calvinist nonsense.

Heb_11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son;

1Pet 1:7 so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

:) Maybe I am missing something then.

Salvation is a gift to those that repent. There is no salvation gifted unless we repent.

Calvinism would teach there is salvation, repentance or not.

What about these people do they fit into your works-based theology?

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Forgiveness IS salvation, received when one Repents.

The gift isn't salvation.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission/forgiveness of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Salvation = saved. Reconciliation with God for those who repent. Saved from punishment of sin and a life away from God. Only the blood Jesus shed on the cross can give this.

Forgiveness is related, sure, but a separate topic. The gift of the Holy Spirit is also a separate matter.

Salvation is a gift...
Upon what scripture would you base that assumption?

Just do a quick search through the NT on the word GIFT, and even you ought to "get it."

Most everywhere the word GIFT is used, it regards the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

:rolleyes:

The word hand like the word forehead for mind in the bible parables speak of the will of dying mankind. (no power)

Genesis 4:11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;

Abel did not receive a blood transfusion from the hand of Cain

Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

God use the word finger to represent his will in parables

Exodus 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Daniel 5:5 In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

Genesis 9:5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.

Above hand of the will. The forehead mind or will moving the body

Yes Abraham did not test his own faith (understanding) or personal belief as dying mankind he had no powerful faith that could please the unseen Holy Father . Not a little faith as power but none

. The question By whose "Let there be" powerful faith as a labor of love? Abraham, Rehab or Christ Emmauel alone the faithful understanding that powerfully worked in Abraham, Rehab the prostitute

Whose will do does the born-again believer do.? Do we do it in respect to Abraham and Rehab the prostitute dying mankind?

Was it God working in them to both will and do his own good pleasure (Philippian 2:12)?

The loving commandment (have not) in first verse if not obeyed . . .it makes the rest of the Chapter without effect.

It (have not) must be obeyed

James 2:1 My brethren, have not the faith (as a labor of love) of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons (Abrahm Rehab dying mankind )

Verse 7 informs the believer if they do not obey the loving commandment verse 1 not to take the power of Christ's faith as a labor of love and attribute it to dying mankind like Abraham and Rehab the prostitute, They have committed blasphemy attributing the invisible faithful thing of the Holy Father and teaching the power to understand God comes for dying mankind (Abraham Rehab

James 2:7Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?

James2: 21-26;Was not Abraham our father justified by works,( "Let there be" Emanuel) when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?;Seest thou how faith ( "Let there be" Emanuel) wrought with his works ( "Let there be" Emanuel), and by works ( "Let there be" Emanuel) was faith ("Let there be" Emanuel) made perfect?;And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.;Ye see then how that by works ( "Let there be" Emanuel) a man is justified, and not by faith only.;Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, ( "Let there be" Emanuel) when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?;For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith ( "Let there be" Emanuel) without works (And it was God alone good) is dead also.

He doesn't repent for you.

The Christ of us Christians says
I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes” (Matthew 11:25).

And, the apostles and elders are in accord with Jesus’ words with their saying, “Well then, God has given to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life” (Acts 11:18)

So, clearly, Jesus’ words in Matthew 11:25 state that God exclusively causes man to think differently after an encounter with God (repent means to think differently afterward).

Praise be to Lord Jesus for His blessed works!

More unbiblical Calvinist nonsense.

Heb_11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son;

1Pet 1:7 so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

The Christ of us Christians says
This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent” (John 6:29).

And, Holy Spirit inspired Apostle Paul is in accord with Lord Jesus’ words for Paul wrote to the Ephesians “by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His work” (Ephesians 2:8-10).

And, Holy Spirit inspired Apostle Peter is in accord with Lord Jesus’ words for Peter declared “God, who knows the heart, testified to them giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us; and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith” (Acts 15:8-9).

So, clearly, Jesus’ words in John 6:29 state for us believers to believe in Jesus whom the Father has sent is exclusively by/of/through God.

All glory and honor and adoration to Jesus the Lord, now and forevermore!

Only God can "grant" repentance.

2Ti 2:24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient,
2Ti 2:25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
2Ti 2:26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

Praise God! You are pointing to the Light!

Fruit of the Spirit/righteous actions/good works are God working in us Christians for the Christ of us Christians says
he who practices the Truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they are having been worked in God” (John 3:21).

And, Paul is in accord with Lord Jesus’ words for he wrote to the Philippians “being filled with the fruit of righteousness that [is] by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God” (Philippians 1:11).

So, clearly, Christ’s words in John 3:21 state fruit in we believers is exclusively by/of/through God.

Worthy is the Lamb who said "It is finished" before we were born!
