Ivoted "no" because you mean like go to where a lot of people go and listen to another man... a sinner most probably blabber his idea of what God is saying and doing... Then NO! but every time i open the Word of God... am I not in the Church where Jesus is preachin Truth to God's standard? Then YES!... I am there 7 days a week and as regular as daily activities would allow! Like right now! typing this i preach truth and Word.... Jesus is the only "body" and "church" I would like to go to! Love you all .... Cobus!

Sorry but we are ALL sinners, including you and me. And we are ALL redeemed through the blood of Jesus, if we accept it. And we are called to be a church together. God did not mean us to be alone. I pray you will find fellowship. Read Paul's letters, all throughout he stresses the need for Christians to encourage, rebuke, teach, praise and share together. You are missing out on God's blessings for you that he wants to pass on through your brothers and sisters.

I do not go, have not found a place where they speak the whole counsel of God.. You can not just pick out one verse and make it fit to what you want...

have alot of fellowship in my home with other saints, and we praise the Lord we are all the body and all have a part in the body.

Blessings & Shalom
debbi rennier

ps. do not to go into a box for fellowship, I get it when I go into the jails and tell someone about Jesus and His saving grace.

This is a poll, but if a person wants to know what Paul wrote about encouraging eachother to go to the assembling. Let me then show you who the people are in these assemblies. They are "saints" People that recieved the illumination. Hebrews 10:32... they were iluminated! This is the people Jesus refers to as the children of the light in 1 Thes 5:5. And in 1 Peter 2:9 God teaches us that these people are a HOLY NATION and they have fellowship with the Light in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him, or them 1 John 2:10. Oh! Can we do sin (darkness) in the light, not according to God. He says... What communion hath light with darkness (2 Cor 6:14) and then God says this... 2 Cor 6:16 ....I will dwell in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. The temple of the living God, God keeps His temple pure and Holy! IN HIM IS NO SIN!
We are sinners because we are not enlightened yet, rebirth does this enlightment. When God enters into another one of his temples, 1 John 3:9... these reborn of God CANNOT sin, and they are the assembly of God!
Saint- from the greek word "Hagios" meaning most holy, physically pure, morally blameless, sacred. Wow! a saint is truly sinless, but not perfect yet, according to Eph 4:11,12,13. that is the job Paul had and the other Apostles, prohets, evangelists and Pastors, for the perfecting of the saints! Till they all come into the unity of faith, for the edifying of the Body of Christ, and the Body of Christ is PERFECT, or Christ is imperfect. And we know that cannot be. So what did PAul say.... Become part of the Body of Christ. Holy and perfect, because once you recieved the light, the knowledge of the truth and still sin, then their remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. Heb 10:26.
I have not been enlightened yet, that is my goal, to be saved by Jesus!

I go to church on Sundays and then on Wednesday night for Bible Study. Am also looking for a Sabbath keeping church on Saturdays, but have had no luck with that yet.

I attend church on Sunday morning for Sunday school, Praise and Worship and then the Sunday sermon. Then back on Sunday evening for an hour of Praise and Worhsip and Bible Study. Repeat that on Wednesday.. I love the church I attend... They teach allllll of the Bible, and not just a verse here and a verse there. Our pastor will take a book of the bible and preach line by line for as long as it takes to go through the entire book. Sometimes it takes well over a year to go through it that way, but he doesn't miss a word.. and he explains each line in layman's terms so that even a pea brain like me can understand it... and we are allowed to approach him with questions or areas where we might disagree.. He is totally open to any and all discussion..

I voted for the "Depends" option. The reason is because for me, it really depends on what's going on at my church during a particular week. So far I have only gone once per week but that may increase in the future as I get involved in Bible Studies and such. :) I attend a United Church of Christ church now where I am a member at. :)

I go to church sunday morning, sunday afternoon, friday afternoon, and tuesday after noon and anyother time theirs a speciall thing I usually go! I love church! I love my Family! and our Father(God :) whoom wraps us in his arms everyday and tells us how much he loves us.

Polls?

Acts 2:42-47 The Early Church,; And they continued stedfastly in the Apostles' Doctrine(Repent) and fellowship, and breaking of bread(celelbration of Lord's Supper. probably in a much more informal setting than today), and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul( the Holy Spirit Moving and Operating , seeing the things that the Spirit was doing, all had a sense of awe, wonder, and fear): and many wonders and signs were done by the Apostles. And all who believed were together(believers together, and has all things common(those losing their jobs because of persecution, shared with those who didn't as it is 2010.)And sold their possessions and goods ,and parted them to all men, as every man had need( a Christlike people because of great persecution as now.) And they, continuing daily with one accord in the Temple ( the Temple turned into a meeting place of believers, and breaking bread from house to house(the believers in houses all over Jerusalem) did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart( they had a joy that persecution could not hinder). Praising God, and having favor with all the people (Jerusalem as a whole was favorably impressed by what they saw respecting these Followers of Christ). And the Lord added to the Church daily such as should be saved(many were coming to the Lord). Where are the believers of today?
Isa 62:12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The Redeemed of the LORD: and you shall be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.(speaks of the coming Kingdom Age, Christ will reign, with Israel having accepted Him as Saviour-Messiah. As a result, all over the world they will be called "The holy people", The Redeemed of the LORD."
Polls are an American religious fad.

We have a Sunday service, and a Wednesday service and because we are a cell church, we meet in our respective cell groups during the week, which are also considered "church".

I go on Sunday mornings and on Sunday nights if a meeting is held. I sometimes go to Friday night prayer meetings depending on whether I'm at work or not.

Became unwell 10 years ago. Psychologically-hammered my faith bigtime. I chased the wind before i fell; Then felt like job in his pain, related to Saul in his torment [1 Samuel 16:14]. To quote from the shack "The Great Sadness" enveloped me. whilst i did not turn my back on the Lord I kept Him at bay, i turned my back on his House and have come to distrust much about it. So I answered 'depends' - if God calls i go. So i would like to get to know Jesus again and feel Loved again once more.

Thankyou for allowing me to post here.

I go on Sundays and then I usually meet up with my Youth Group every Tuesday, Thursday night, and Sunday afternoon after church.

It's hard for me to attend a Christian church since my family is Catholic, but I go when I can.

I go as often as I am able to go. Because I am a Born Again Christian, I am now in the world but no longer of the world. The world gets 7 days a week to hammer at me and to chink away at the armour of God that I adorn my self with every day. I arm myself with God's word daily. But when I gather with my church family and seek the Mighty presence of God, I have another opportunity to openly confess my sins, repent, and that is when God will allow me to experience revival. There can be no revival without repentence.
I can and do speak to God while walking along these country roads, and while I have quiet time at home or in the car or where ever I may be, but when I experience corporate worship, that is when I learn and have an opportunity to ask questions and perhaps even answer a few questions other may have. I go to further learn about God and what He expects of me as a Christian and I go to learn how I can change my attitude so that I may experience a personal relationship with Him. I go often because that is a starting point to serving a most merciful, graceious and loving God and it is giving back just a tiny bit of what God gives us each and every day when we awaken on this side of the sod. God sacrificed His only son so that we may be free and live eternally with Him. My taking time away from other pursuits and spending time with my brothers and sisters in Christ is but a miniscule sacrifice by comparison. And God blesses me although I am hardly worthy of His notice. I go to learn, love, live and have a relationship with God, and with the other members of the body of Christ. Like everyone else, we all must eat and drink fluids to stay alive. For me, spendingtime in church feeds my spirit and keeps it alive, and without it, I might wither and die. and being with those of like minds helps me grow in the Lord.

I normally go 2-3 times a week; services on Sunday and Sunday night, and cell group on Wednesday nights.

why do ppl go more then one day????

People who love the Lord just seem to enjoy time worshiping Him, fellow-shipping and ministering to the brethren and studying His Word. It seems quite natural to me and should never be an obligation but a joy.
:shade:

I think it's very important to go church to worship our heavenly father. I go to church 4 times a week.
