Hi Thanks .I would offer. What does "call no man father" mean - and WHO was it directed to? Does that mean I can't call my father - father? Does it mean I can't call my pastor 'pastor?' Look at who Jesus is talking about - the Scribes and Pharisees. Look at what Jesus says about them and put this all in context
It would seem obvious in respect to our Spiritual unseen Holy Fathe. He did not say don't call your dad father.
In that way father is used in two ways in the Bible.
One to represent the fathers a law of men oral traditions of dying mankind .They worship a legion of fathers called Patron saints as if the Legion of fathers made up the one invisible father.
Born again Paul formally the Christians murderer as Saul.He became number one on the most wanted dead or alive .Paul rather than worship as ligion of father worshiped the good of the fathers. They tried to prove sola scriptura (all things written in the law and prophets was heresy so they could keep their own I heard it through fathers grapevine Traditions of dying mankind
Why do you think he lovingly commanded his children to call no man on Earth Holy Father, Holy See, Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Primate of Italy
Acts 24:13-14Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me. But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophetssola scriptura)
God of the fathers .Not a legion fathers as one God not inspiration from above
